What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Their prices don’t match the food quality. We order a pasta dish and the portion was very small, not even in Italy portions are that small, so don’t order the pasta if you are really hungry. We also order a pizza which was very soggy. I wanted to order a burger but didn’t because they don’t sell fries to go with it. Also, service was very slow and food took forever, not sure if they were short staffed that particular night or what happened. Keep in mind that you need to have a reservation if you want to be seated inside, or at least that’s what they told us. That was my first visit to this restaurant but I will not be coming back, there are too many and better options near by. My daughter and her Harvard class mates that were with us having dinner were also equally disappointed. I have to say the place inside looked very cozy and nicely decorated but we didn’t have a reservation so we were seated outside and it was a cold night and they don’t have outdoor heaters. We saw people with blankets when we were leaving, but they were not offered to us."
"Just a quick note to say that my husband and I had the best dinner last night. It was a simple order or a pepperoni pizza and the caprese sandwich (which quickly became one of the best sandwiches i've eaten in boston in the 23 years i've lived here). But we truly needed a night out without hiccups, and your meal before our show at the sinclair was just perfection."
"Food was absolutely delicious, definitely a 10/10. I ordered a drink called Tea Time, and it was extremely sour, so I’d give that a 2/10. Unfortunately, our waitress wasn’t very attentive, which took away from the experience."
"Visited SOURCE for the first time last night before a show at the Sinclair, which is just down the street. We had the beef braciole, whipped ricotta, and a margherita pizza. Both appetizers were excellent, as was the pizza. The Neapolitan style pizza was big enough to split between two people, especially when ordering appetizers. Good sized drinks menu, and our server, Denis, was very attentive. We had a table for two by the windows and it was very comfortable seating. Recommend reservations as it a smaller restaurant with limited tables. When we booked with OpenTable, it was noted that there is a cancellation fee, if you cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. While this may seem like a bit much, this is a small restaurant that can't afford to have empty tables because of last minute no-shows. Very close to the Harvard Square Red Line station (maybe a 2 minute walk at most). We plan to come back when we go to the Sinclair next, but have added it to our list of restaurants for a night out when the mood strikes us."
"Source is one of, if not, my favorite restaurant in Cambridge! The food is phenomenal - I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and pepperoni pizza. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely kind. I highly recommend this restaurant for date night, night out with the girls or any special occasion!! I will keep coming back!"
"We love coming to this bakery when we are in town. It really is phenomenal and deserves all five stars. I highly recommend their buttermilk biscuit. We had..."
