"WF was out of my normal brand of Italian roast bean so I bought this. Quality coffee with great flavors, but the flavors of a medium roast. Made it in a french press. I'm taking a star off because the french roast is a medium roast blend at best. See the picture, it's not a true french roast that is oily, dark and earthy. But I will keep for my days when I'm looking for a quality medium roast."
