"I visited Duke’s Bakery in Fall River for the first time and was really disappointed with the experience. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted, even though there was only one other customer there. I ordered a small coffee, two muffins, and a steak and cheese sub, which came out to around $40. The staff member who helped me was rude and dismissive, even after I mentioned it was my first time visiting. When I opened my food, the sandwich was messy and falling apart in the container, which made it hard to even eat. For the price and reputation, I expected a much better experience. I always try to support local businesses, but unfortunately, this visit left a bad impression and I don’t plan to return."
"I had not been to Duke’s Bakery since 2019 when they were at their old location. After all these years, I finally made it to their new location, and it is immaculate. The variety of foods is incredible, all gluten-free, with many options that meet specific dietary needs including Paleo, SCD, and others. Chris was awesome. The hustle and bustle of all the Thanksgiving activity felt beautiful, and the smells brought me right into the heart of a Thanksgiving kitchen. I would highly recommend Duke’s Bakery without question. Every one of their many selections is worth exploring."
"Hired Duke's to cater a small wedding and the food arrived ready to serve. They provided set up, tables, equipment. They were on time. The food was outstanding and so was the wedding cake. It was a real treat to enjoy an entirely gluten- and dairy-free meal, that was prepared safely and to have every aspect be absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Duke's Bakery and Cafe in Fall River!"
"Very cool post industrial use space. Delightful place to hang out. But the best GF coffee cake across several states. I mean they're heaven! Then I shopped for my youngest kid who is allergic to all dairy, gluten and eggs. Duke's had several choices that were also good. Go, go, go. Oh and say hi to Lizzie Borden at her nearby home (great tours) or the cool battleship museum in the harbor. Now I just need them to open a Duke's in Northampton MA! We need such a place!!"
