from Google & Yelp"I stopped in for a Capuccino and tried what they call "Hand Pies". The one I tried was a chicken curry with potatoes. Both were excellent. Their "Hand Pie" to me is essentially an Empanada...baked, not deep fried. It was a nice treat! The place was small but quaint. I enjoyed it very much!"
"Incredibly kind and thoughtful staff! The food is absolutely delicious, and it’s always fun to branch out and try a new pie or drink. Everything I’ve had has been top-notch, flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere inside makes it a great place to relax with friends, bring visitors from out of town, or enjoy a quiet solo meal. There’s a real attention to detail in everything they do. They also offer well-made merchandise for sale in the store, including some cool designs that reflect their brand. Their Instagram and website are both regularly updated with new menu items, seasonal specials, and fun behind-the-scenes posts. With their new hours, it’s now accessible to stop by after work or later in the day, which makes a big difference. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, there’s always something to enjoy. It’s the kind of place that feels like a community staple. It’s warm, consistent, and full of heart. Truly one of the best spots in town and one I find myself returning to again and again. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already."
"Wow! What an amazing place! I went to the Pie Bar for the first time yesterday, and was impressed from the minute I walked in. We were the first customers yesterday, and got there right when they opened (exactly on time, which was much appreciated). There were many bouquets of fresh flowers all over the place, and all the baked goods were on display and well-identified. I got a piece of orange chess pie (sooooo good!) and a cafe au lait, plus my son and I split four cookies - two brown butter chocolate chip, and two spiced chocolate. My wife loved her scone, too! Prices were very reasonable, and the service was quick. I can't wait to come back the next time we're in Florence/Northampton!"
"When you specialize in something, the bar for achieving quality is set very high. This local gem hits the mark! I come here when I want to treat myself or impress visitors."
"I have heard about this place for a while now but don't live close so this was my first time trying it out since I had an appointment in town nearby. I was very excited and looking forward to a tasty slice of pie. I stopped by a little before 3:30pm and was a bit disappointed to see their selection was slim, with only two pie varieties available for slices—blueberry lattice and brown sugar chess pie. I asked the lady working behind the counter a few questions about the chess pie as I've never had one before but, ultimately, ended up going with a blueberry lattice slice. Or so I thought. Unfortunately, I didn't unbox my slice until 8pm that evening, only to discover I was given a slice of the chess pie. I figured I'd give it a go anyways since I paid $6 for it (which is a bit steep for such a little slice, if you ask me) and didn't want it to go to waste. Well... it wasn't my cup of tea... or should I say, slice of pie?! The custard appeared to be split as it wasn't a very smooth texture and it was just one-tone in flavor. The crust, while flaky and smelling delicious, was so hard, I could not cut through it with a fork. I also had a piece of the apricot walnut rugelach, which was equally hard to bite through, albeit tasty in flavor. This was a very unfortunate experience as I really was looking forward to finally trying them out and it smelled so good when I got the box of treats into my car. For what it's worth, I'll give them another go next time I'm in town. The staff were super pleasant and the atmosphere inside was very welcoming! Sadly no pictures as I wasn't anticipating posting."
