You can find all kinds of relatively rare and obscure films in dvd or blu-ray. The owner/employees are extremely friendly and knowledeable if you have questions too"

"The Vu is truly a hidden gem, and it’s a shame that more people in Boston don’t know about it! It’s Boston’s *only* video rental store (cue the nostalgia) AND they’re a micro-batch coffee roaster with a full-service coffee shop. Not only is the coffee delicious, but it’s so reasonably priced, which is such a rarity these days. They also have a microcinema where they hold screening events. Super happy to have a spot like this in the neighborhood!"

"Best coffee in town. Hands down. The problem, though, is that Kevin is a lil drink wizard so it's all but impossible to settle into a regular order because you'll want to try everything. Not to mention the joy of a physical media rental store existing in 2025. I STRONGLY recommend the memberships if you have a DVD player and like watching movies. Bonus: It's also Queer Allied (step up from Queer-Friendly!) and the benefit of having a place outside of your home to just take a breath and get a lil sweet treat cannot be understated."
