"We recently had Roots cater our baby shower. The food was amazing, and coming from Roots we knew all of the ingredients were high quality. Price was very reasonable and honestly on par with what we would have paid for food from Wholefoods or Wegmans, but the quality was so much better! And the presentation was gorgeous. Thanks Roots! You'll be catering all of our events in the future!"

"I love this place and there really isn’t anything like it in the area. Soups are always different and taste amazing. I love the vegan Reuben and my spouse loves the roast beef. It can get super busy at times because it’s on the smaller side but it’s worth the wait!!!"

"I came into this store after a rough day to buy some dairy-free treats and decided to leisurely browse the store for any other new or dairy free items since they’re hard to come by at regular stores , which to me I feel is completely normal behavior for a customer. Instead of being allowed to shop in peace, I was blatantly followed around the store by an employee. I was the only customer there at the time, so it was very clear that I was being singled out. The experience made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and frankly profiled. I made my purchase and left, but this was not okay. I have always liked this store and wanted to continue supporting a local business, but no customer should be treated like a suspect simply for existing in the space. Following patrons and making them feel watched and judged is unacceptable. This experience was disturbing enough that I do not feel comfortable returning."

"The rosemary, white chocolate, and cranberry cookie warmed up some is soo delicious! Also recommend the double chocolate fudge brownie — it’s almost a surprise that it is gluten free (though knowing that, it is noticeable that it almost had a bit of an oatmeal cookie texture to it). It’s great how they have a good selection of food that is suitable for vegan and gluten-free diets."

"People with gluten and/or food allergies beware of this place. My friend has a severe gluten allergy and even though the online menu lets you select the gluten free option, the place did not accommodate . After realizing that the tempe bacon was not gluten free and explaining the situation, the server behind the counter was rude, impatient and did not even offer to change her order or reimburse her for their mistake. The server offered her sour dough bread as an option, but that is not gluten free. The service here is also comically slow, it doesn’t make sense."
