"While many don't know it's here, a single tiny flyer at the Hive Public Market was all it took for me to find out there's a new coffee shop in Lowell! One of my favorite kinds of surprises. So when walking in, I was automatically greeted and welcomed in, by a very kind person at the register I might add, and explained their cool speciality latte menu. Never did I think peanut butter in a fluff lined cup (called a Seagull, if I'm not mistaken) would taste so good, but here I am, regretting the small size I chose. The area is certainly cozy and gives off a nice, calming atmosphere, straight out of a video game like Coffee Talk (if you know, you know.) Beyond that, I find that the coffee and tea options are well stocked and absolutely well-made. Will be coming back to taste test other latte flavors, but otherwise, a worthy stop when or if you need to be on Merrimack street for any reason. There's no reason not to stop inside."

"This cafe is hard to spot on the street but It would have been better if we had missed it. I couldn't blame the barista for keeping any comments on preference to herself because she is just trying to earn a paycheck. The main problem is the coffee quality. I had ordered a fluffy seagull which was a terrible combination but I could not complain since it was my first time in. I decided it would be my last as well. The espresso had no kick and was overtaken by the milk in my latte. I also purchased a tuxedo mocha for my sweetheart and the espresso was barely tasted. No matter which size you get, the double shot is how much you get. Unfortunately the price point is too high for a local shop and the quality is too low for a coffee enjoyer to recommend. Anybody could fix a better cup at home. Use that 7.25 at Starbucks, Cafe Nero, or even a Dunkin's and you will be better off."

"I loved stopping by this coffee shop for the holidays! The outside was decorated with the Grinch, which was so fun and festive and immediately put me in the holiday spirit. The holiday drinks were amazing, flavorful, cozy, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a visit if you want good coffee and cheerful holiday vibes!"

"Walking up to Cafe Eclipse brings you through the charming outdoor seating area/garden. Inside the cafe, the atmosphere is airy and clean but also a little moody with cozy seating, locally handmade ceramics and other items, and a cooler of drinks. The ordering counter is low and looks like it would be accessible from a wheelchair. Cards and cash are accepted. The owner is a delight to chat with, and was happy to explain menu items to me, and mentioned flavorings and ingredients that were newly available and not on the menu yet. I got an iced creme brulee latte with vanilla cold foam and it was tasty! Lots of milk options too, for anyone who doesn't do dairy milk. No pastries the day I went, but Claire mentioned they are working to get some soon. My only critique is that the outdoor seating is shaped in a way that hurts my legs/hips. The indoor seating has options that would be more comfortable for larger bodied people. Street parking was fine and free today but you may have a short walk or small cost depending on the day and how busy the area is. The location is great, close to downtown and the library with other local small businesses and restaurants nearby."

"I’ve been meaning to try the fluffy seagull on the cape so imagine my enjoyment when I found that they make one at a café just a 10 minute walk from my office! It was delicious and the staff was so nice and inviting. They seem like the have a lot of unique latte flavors, I will definitely be back to try!"

"There's a brand-new café that opened this summer right in downtown Lowell -- conveniently located near City Hall with plenty of parking (a rare find!)...."
