"I was in town for my father's funeral and went to the Corner Cafe because it was one of the places I remember going with him and I was looking for a connection. At first I thought they accidentally left the 'Open' sign on but nope - they changed their hours and are open for dinner now. I was greeted warmly and asked if they had decaf. They didn't have any ready but didn't hesitate to make a fresh pot for me. I wasn't that hungry but I was sick of feeling my feelings and decided to eat them instead. I'm so glad I did. I ordered a wedge salad - hold the blue cheese. They offered me a substitution which I accepted. Same with the dressing - I didn't ask, they offered. I don't know what to say here...how to get across how amazing (and huge) this salad was... I'm 60 years old and love salads. When I'm back home, I eat one almost every day. This easily made it into the top five in my lifetime - at the Corner Cafe!? The place feels the same, the service was like coming home but the hours have expanded, they have a new owner, and if my dinner was any indication - the food is better. If you haven't been here in a while, give it another try. I'm sorry I wasn't able to return before I left but if/when I make it back again, it's first on my list for something to eat."

"Dropped into the corner Café after work, thinking I was going to get some breakfast items as they have always been a breakfast restaurant. I came in the evening and was pleasantly surprised that they had a great dinner menu. I got the chicken parm over fettuccine and the chicken was even hand breaded. It was delicious! I topped it off with dessert and my server suggested the red velvet cake. All in all. Great food and great service. I will definitely be back and support this small business."
