Len's offers an amazingly varied rotation of truly excellent coffee (even with the recent pruning of the menu), and it's stuff you won't find anywhere else--their large number of Vietnamese roasts and blends, of course, but also liberica, Mr. Taggart's (fire-roasted!), and the best decaf you'll find anywhere. Len's knowledge of the finer points of roasting is unparalleled, and it shows. I'm local, so I always pick up my orders rather than having them shipped, which is hugely convenient. Len's is an institution. Help keep them in business, buy local!"

"The coffee is indeed excellent....Some of the best I have ever had without question. The one star relates to our last order. The order arrived quite late, and the first bag opened had a number of stones in the coffee....not small, same size as the coffee beans. I heard the stones in the grinder, and tried to stop the grinder before something happened, but got there a second or so too late. The stones jammed my grinder and broke it - the belt drive snapped. Luckily I purchased the grinder from a company that has a great repair program. I contacted Len's regarding the stones in the coffee - I did not and do not expect Len's to pay for the repair, nor a new grinder. I received zero response, waiting a full week. No apology, no commiseration - just silence. Regardless of how good the coffee is, every business is a people business. In consideration of how our last order was handled, we will not be ordering from Len's again."
