What People Are Saying
from Google"Haven't been here in years. Used to be nice. They have a wonderful menu. But the food was gross. They are high priced for barely decent food. Drinks seem watered down and not tasty. The place seems like it needs maintenance. Some of the seats are broken. Thw avocado toast had watery tasteless "avocado" thinly spread. The menu says they use frozen yogurt for smoothies but it's just ice cream. They say thwy have non dairy versions of smoothies but they don't they juat mwan they don't put the dairy in it which is ridiculous. The woman who originally took our order didn't make our drinks or get out croissant so the woman taking over had no idea what we had and you could tell the poor girl was stressed. I'll never come back here. They have a lot of potential and used to be good. But they've really gone downhill."
"First visit to Cafe Arpeggio in downtown New Bedford. Had a breakfast sandwich and cold brew. Son had an acai bowl. Thought the cold brew was pretty good. Had it with regular cream and sugar and a shot of caramel. The breakfast sandwich was a bacon, egg and cheese on a Asiago bagel with Swiss cheese. It was okay, nothing extraordinary. Street parking, bring change to feed the meter."
"Very cozy and sweet place. It's with a walkable part of the historical district. I recommend stopping by just to try the sweet wafflepops 🤤 though the sandwiches ans coffee are very delicious as well."
"Cafe is cute and has potential. Vegetables not washed ( had flys and maggots in lettuce) Pastries are not baked fresh, they are all store bought( cakes, muffins, scones croissants ) Nothing is dated or rotated. Pastry will sit until sold no matter how many days it’s been."
"No greeting, no eye contact, just pure ‘I hate my job’ energy from the staff. The customer service consistently misses the mark. Changing ownership won’t make a difference unless there’s also a change in staff and attitude. Also, its very unsettling seeing fruit flies all over the food in the display case."
