from Google"I learned of Diane's through a local facebook group and stopped in or some muffins on a Saturday morning around 9:45 am. Most of the tables were taken and there were a few people ahead of me with two people working, one at the grill and one at the counter taking orders, preparing drinks and prepping orders. It took almost 10 minutes for me to make it to the counter and about another 5 before I was on my away out the door. I ordered three muffins: two blueberry and one pistachio and one blueberry scone. The lady at the counter was lovely but looked a bit flustered and kept thanking me for my patience. I tried both the blueberry scone and muffin and they were fantastic. I didn't have a chance to try the pistachio muffin though. I would highly recommend the muffins and would allow yourself a little time to get in/out based on my experience. I look forward to returning to try additional menu items."
"I have been here before for a coffee and a muffin and enjoyed it as a nice stop in an historic area. I am looking ahead to an expedition on Christmas Eve day but can’t determine if they are open or not and there’s no phone number. Calling the historical Society doesn’t help either because they only have a recorded menu of different people that you can leave voicemail for. There’s no way to reach the café."
"Was driving by and needed coffee before work. Saw the sign and stopped at the North Andover Historical Society. Inside were some of the best scones I’ve had outside of the southern states (I’m partial to the apple scones), I was lucky enough to get them fresh out of the oven. Coffee was excellent. Breakfast sandwiches made to order. Took some extra candied cookies for later in the day which were fantastic. Diane is so friendly, and whipping up batches of freshly baked goods on the spot. I will be back to try the cherry muffins. And anything new she makes, it’s clearly hard to go wrong with anything she makes."
