"A warm and lively local bakery. Ordered a breakfast sandwich on my way to an7-mile Salem coast walk. The counter lady was super friendly. People work there treat patrons like families. My croissant sandwich with eggs and ham was delicious and warm. Highly recommend."

"The best bakery in Salem! They always have a fun selection of donuts and pastries, pies, cakes, cookies… everything you could want and everything is so good! I also love their selection of coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The employees are always so super sweet. We come in here several times a week. It’s my emotional support establishment. I would work here even if they just paid me in coffee time gift cards. I love you, Coffee Time!!"

"Looking to over indulge on authentic paczki donuts? Then run, I mean run to Coffee Time in Salem. Don’t worry, there’s a parking lot so none of the “no places to park madness” that plagues Salem. Tight counter to order. Many choices available. Today was a strawberry and cream day for me. Just a perfect little pillow of heaven. I’ll see you at the counter next week. "Stopped going here for a while and thought it would be different today but they tried just dumping 6 cannolis in a bag with a donut. I asked him to put them in a small box so they arent ruined, the then shoved 2 eclairs in the box as well. Slid me the box and there was a long hair across the top of the cannolis. He showed another employee and she just says “that’s gross”. They put new cannolis in a new box but put the same eclairs that had the hair in the new box, one which was thrown upside down. There’s also a paper or string or something on the new cannolis. Ordered a strawberry smoothie as well, their smoothies went from $7 for a 16oz cup to the same price in a 12oz cup and use next to no flavor so it tasted like just ice. For the prices here, I’m thoroughly disappointed in today’s service. Especially the not replacing the eclairs that were also in the box with the hair, will probably just throw those away even though I paid for them."

"We decided to stop in and get breakfast to go. We got several pastries and coffee. The egg nog latte was one of the best ones my husband has had in a while. My peppermint patty latte was good as well, with a subtle peppermint flavor that wasn’t overpowering at all. The lemon Bismark was light and fluffy and so good. The scones are made fresh and were good as well. We didn’t care for the cheese danish. It needed a bit more cream cheese to hold up to the pastry around it. Be prepared for a crowd. Even in the middle of the week, the place was hopping and not very big. We waited outside for a bit before there was enough room to walk inside. Despite that, this was a great place to eat and we would for sure go back."
