"The ice cream at Gracie’s was very underwhelming unfortunately. The staff were lovely, but the ice cream just wasn’t great in my opinion. I tried 4 different flavours: the ginger, the heath bar, the pandan, and the black raspberry chip. All 4 flavours were much too sweet in my opinion, except the ginger which had a nice kick to counterbalance the sweetness. Ice cream is supposed to be sweet, but sugar shouldn’t be the main flavour. I could barely taste the chocolate or toffee in the Heath bar scoop. The raspberry with chocolate was so sweet it was hard to finish. Lastly, I think they maybe didn’t store the ice cream at a cold enough temperature because it was very soft and melting very quickly. I would have liked a thicker, creamer texture, which would last a bit longer. Maybe this was a one off mistake though."

"One of my favorite local ice cream shop with fun and creative flavors. For years, Gracie’s, along with its sister shop Christina’s, has been my go-to spots for ice cream in Somerville. Known for its imaginative and frequently rotating flavors, Gracie's offers a unique experience that stands out from other local ice cream shops. My personal favorites include unique flavors like Honey Corn Bread and Carrot Cake. The Honey Corn Bread, in particular, is perhaps my all-time favorite. It really captures the essence of the actual corn bread in a creamy, frozen form. While I do agree with some of my friends saying that the texture of Gracie’s Ice cream isn’t the best, it still has a solid firmness with just the right level of creaminess. They also offer ice cream pies with Oreo crusts, a decadent option if you’re looking for something different. However, these are stored in low-temp freezers, which slightly affects their texture compared to the regular ice creams. Nevertheless, if you’re looking for an ice cream shop with whimsical flavors after a meal near Union Square, I recommend giving them a try."

"The service staff did not tell me you only get to try 2 flavours and must decide. They only told me after I already tried 2 flavours and didn’t like either. They were also cold and rude. The lack of prayer communication demonstrates a severe lack of communication skills and professionalism. The flavors were not outstanding, but it’s good ice cream. I won’t be back because of the poor service skills by the staff though."

"We had a lot of fun with the ice cream advent calendar this year. Great way to sample a bunch of flavors! Red raspberry cookie dough and black raspberry chip were our favorites!"

"May 2024: Staff excellent, cones excellent, ice cream excellent. It was smooth and the fluff cones is what i recommended with any of your ice cream flavors. Sprinkles are free and a cute addition for extra color. I had cookies and cream which was rich and you could tell it was in house made. Two hard workers were holding it down and they did an amazing job."
