"My child has nut and sesame allergy but being a vegetarian restaurant most stuff contain these ingredients. Huge props to the staff who go above and beyond to make sure his food is prepared without the stuff he can’t eat - careful labeling, separate to-go bags to differentiate the food without the allergens etc We came here twice this week. One time we arrived 8 mins before closing. Yet, they took our orders without an unhappy face, including the kitchen crew. Thank you, everyone! It’s a pity we seldom have the luxury of time to sit down and enjoy the nice ambience. Portions were good size but we do struggle to hit our protein count in all the menu options. I saw a sign they validate parking garage with discount but didn’t know so we didn’t use it. It’s always a challenge finding a free parking spot. We used the coupons they sponsored for a sporting event that made our meals a super good deal. Thank you!"

The taste is pretty strong thats all I can describe, but definitely recommend trying it out . There was no parking tho, so had to park far in the neighborhood and walk there, so be mindful of that"

"Really gorgeous place, love the ambience a lot. Looks like a Wes Anderson movie. Acai bowl was probably the best I've had? Nothing weird, just the best I've had. Our broccoli kale bowl was wonderfully steamed with great sauce. Fantastic. Good coffee, and the cold pressed juice was nice."

"Walked in for breakfast and ordered a vanilla latte and the power blueberry waffles. Im not usually a big fan of sweet food for breakfast so Im not sure what possessed me to order this choice but it did not disappoint. It was a perfect balance of sweet and fruity with the blueberry. The coconut shavings where in a perfect abundance without being overwhelming. The latte is also something I wouldn't order (also) but was delicious as well. I sincerely enjoyed the food as well as the charming beautifully lit atmosphere (noting the cute plants in little test tubes), and wonderful/friendly staff who treated me fabulously from start to finish. Bonus fact : They validated my parking for the garage attached to the building so that was stress free...a rarity in Boston! Thank you for the 100% grest experience Life Alive Union Square :)"
