What People Are Saying
from Google"It's been a number of years since we came here, but we stopped in for Sunday brunch just before closing. And WOW -- they have really upped their game to a new level! While the atmosphere is still no frills, the food is delicious, carefully imagined and well-prepared. The buttermilk biscuits are crispy and buttery. The potatoes are creamy in the middle, crispy on the outside and well-seasoned. The beef tallow fries were perfect. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back soon!"
"Service and atmosphere is great! Very nice people and very nice “small town diner” vibe. I didn’t love the food, the waffles were too sweet for me - it was almost like they were crusted in sugar which was a bit too much for me. People I know RAVE about this place so I’d be willing to try it again."
"GLUTEN-FREE BREAKFAST SANDWHICH. I was highly satisfied with both service and food. The wonderful lady who answered the phone was very patient and polite when answering my questions and thoroughly explained each sandwhich to me which made me feel all the more excited to try this place. I eventually went with the bacon-egg and chesse on gluten-free bread. The sandwich itself was absolutely delicous. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon crispy and the chesse melted beautifully. The bread itself was almost like regular bread. It was toasted perfectly with a rich buttery taste to it. I also love how the sandwiches come with two eggs. Not many places sell it this was. I will definitely be back! The interior seems nice to sit down and read while eating or maybe to come with some friends or family. It's quite comfortable and the staff are really nice. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but for those with a gluten allergy, I highly recommend the sandwich."
"We used to come to this place w small kids and it was a solid breakfast spot. Came back recently and.... wow. Homemade jam on a fresh baked biscuit? Yes! Freshly fried beef-tallow fries? Absolutely. An Italian benedict I almost stole from my dining companion? No doubt. There is a lot more to their menu - now far more exciting (and bringing receipts of deliciousness to back it up) menu has a lot more I can't wait to try."
"My Eastie Halfball friends and I have been coming here for a few years now. The food and the service is second to none. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere with reasonable prices. See you on Friday 10-10-2025 JohnnyMags"
