What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This wonderful restaurant was recommended to me by a stranger at a car club event, mainly because of my affinity for coffee, and the name being applicable, etc. However, they also said the food was good, nice environment, fun, etc., and it would be a worthy stop on my culinary adventures. Well, let me just say I think they severely undersold this place!! Caffeine’s Midtown is one of the best restaurants I have visited in YEARS 😍 It’s intimate, tastefully decorated/designed, they have a mood appropriate music playlist in the background at a reasonable volume (unlike the many establishments of late blasting Alt Rock at 100dbs 🤪), the older gentleman who greeted us at the front was engaging, personable, and kind. Our server was attentive, thorough, and lively. The overall atmosphere was conducive to a great night out, but what elevates this place into the stratosphere for me is the FOOD 😍🤩 The “Just Greens” salad and butternut bisque were exceptional, truly. Grand slams, both of them. Our entrees of Gorgonzola chicken and Pad Thai were plentiful, loaded with distinct flavors, and just out of this world. I rarely go to a new place and leave not wishing one or two elements were different, but this place was a 10/10 in every way. Thank you for an awesome night, and we look forward to returning soon! 🤩😍🤫👏🏻"
"Had dinner with my wife Thursday evening and we found the restaurant to be fantastic. The service was great and food was delicious. We ordered the Catalan Octopus and roasted baby beets for appetizers as well as the 2 specials which included pan seared scallops and the filet mignon. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended, worth the price, and we will be back soon."
"Our 1st visit to this gem of a restaurant after afternoon Home for the Holidays production at the nearby Majestic Theater. We saw the ad in the program and decided to try it...so glad we did. Our server, Donna, recited the specials in such an enticing manner it was an art form. I chose items that I may never have even considered before hearing her descriptions. I had the Oysters Rockefeller...truly divine. I also had the Halibut wrapped in the thinnest potato crust over asparagus with crema which was creative and just superb. My husband, who is a pretty picky eater, loved his Spinach/Pear with fig and gorgonzola salad for a starter and Lemon Pecorino Chicken as his entree. We shared a dessert of gelato with fresh fruit and chocolate that was also a perfect ending to our wonderful meal. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and will plan a return visit soon."
"We had a lovely dinner here. The waitstaff is very attentive and super helpful. It was very kind of the chef to offer us a little bowl of beef soup for the wait. It was a very busy night and our first time dining here, so we were excited to try a new dish. The beef soup was excellent btw and I highly recommend it. I tried the eggplant rollatini as an app. It was very good and spicy if you could tolerate a little red pepper flakes. My friend ordered the steak special and said it was very tender and deliciously prepared. I had the Haddock, which was light, flakey, and perfect. No fishy taste. The veggies, sauce, and pasta complimented the Haddock very well. The portions were very generous, too. For the dessert, my friend tried a slice of the coconut cake. It was a HUGE piece and very tasty. We look forward to coming again and trying the bread pudding, which everyone seemed to rave about. The presentation was very aesthetic. Lastly, it was cool to be able to see the open kitchen behind a window with all the cooks. Especially when a chef was flambéing a dish. It was very entertaining to watch. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying some more dishes!"
"Amazing food! Incredible restaurant!! It's been a long time since I ate food that actually had incredible flavor and the correct textures and temperatures. Everyone needs to try this restaurant to experience again how good food should taste. Other restaurant owners should sample this restaurant's menu to understand what food should and can taste like and what they're missing. Hidden in West Springfield in a mini strip mall, the interior decor and atmosphere is surprising - classic, comfortable, warm and inviting! Beautiful! The service is friendly, attentive and efficient. We came for Sunday Brunch and were absolutely thrilled at the extra touches - warmed walnut bread and a perfect fruit salad served free as soon as we sat down. We had Brioche French toast with browned banana, fresh strawberries, maple syrup and a beautiful creme sauce. Beautifully cooked apple sausage side. A made to order omelet with spinach, roasted peppers and feta cheese with sour dough bread included. I seriously have not tasted food cooked this well in decades - and I've tried most of the local restaurants - mid range to self reported 'high quality/high cost' restaurants. They have all been a 1/2 step above fast food in quality and 3-4 times above price. They save time, but really are not worth the effort. Treat yourself and your family! Go to Caffeine Midtown in West Springfield this week!!"
