"I have loved coming to this place for years! I can’t find any confirmation of it anywhere, but my sense is it is under new management or ownership. The restaurant was freezing, even wearing a winter jacket. Impossible to sit and actually enjoy the food. Forget about me, I can’t believe they’re making their staff work like that. As someone who has been coming to this restaurant for years from across the street at the courthouse, as a message to new management, I would tell you to undo everything you’ve done. Those of us from across the street know the faces of these people working here and it is a bad look to have them working under such conditions. Further, it seems as though you’ve implemented some changes and thought no one would notice. The regulars here have been coming here for years. This business has been built on consistency by the same people coming from the across the street at the court. Best of luck but I’m not sure I’ll be back."

Curious about the origins of the café, I asked about the owner, only to learn that Lisa herself was the mastermind behind it all. Not only is she a welcoming and engaging host, but her warmth is matched by her beauty, with eyes that light up when she speaks. She shared that, although she’s from the area, her parents are Albanian, which sparked a wonderful conversation about her heritage. Based on that, she recommended their spinach feta pie, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The flavors transported me straight to Eastern Europe—rich, authentic, and delicious. The café’s interior is equally as inviting, offering a refreshing contrast to the heat outside. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and provides a variety of seating options to suit any mood. "This was our first time here and it's a really nice spot for breakfast or lunch! First and foremost, the staff are so lovely and friendly, so expect to be greeted with smiles all around. The menu is huge, but it looks like they have breakfast and lunch specials to help with your decisions. We got the avocado breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito. The food is exactly what you would expect from a local greasy spoon, and is reasonable for the price of the food. The potatoes that came with the breakfast burrito were either not well heated or had already cooled by the time it got to us, and had a strange flavour (sour somehow?). The hash browns were extremely oily, but we enjoyed the sandwich and the burrito! It seems like a great spot for quick family meals, and they have small tables outside as well!"
