What People Are Saying
from Google"I stumbled upon this cafe and I quickly fell in love as it has an extensive free library (you can also donate books here), they have all day breakfast sandwiches which is a huge plus ! They offer baked goods, and fresh smoothies too! I had the iced apple crumb macchiato and it so delicious as well as the bacon egg and cheese croissant . They do not skimp out on the bacon at all. The owner was there and was very friendly and nice. The cafe is very cozy, welcoming and it actually feels like you’re home."
"I recently moved to the area and wanted to try a new coffee spot. I placed an online order for a Chai and half a dozen bagels (boiled and baked fresh). The Chai was quite delicious but while awaiting my order inside, the Walmart delivery guy comes in and delivers their bakery items. After getting home I go to open the bagels and only have 3 in the box that is supposed to have 6. I try to call the store and it goes directly to some guys personal voicemail. I am highly disappointed in this place. Attached is a picture of the Walmart Bagels I received. I would not recommend this place."
"Service and food was great. The egg, turkey sausage and peppersjack cheese with avocado wrap is my favorite! Kids got the waffle and cinnamon roll — I came in with my three small children and everybody was super helpful and polite and even assisted me with our take out leftovers on the way out as my hands were full !"
"This is such a great little spot. There are about two or three little individual tables and then a community table and a shared counter space along the windows. They have a couple of high chairs if you need one. Good coffee, good breakfast sandwiches, good waffles, good little baked goods. They have a bookshelf with little games and books for adults and kids. Lots of creamer options. Very affordable. Half the price of Starbucks and even Dunkin. And my favorite part about this place is how involved they are with the community. I’m constantly seeing them doing all sorts of philanthropic and community engagement efforts. From free coffee for furloughed gov workers, to raising funds for people with illnesses, they really just go above and beyond and I think that’s so important. We should all be more like The Screaming Bean. * coming back to add that I follow them on Facebook and I see that they regularly provide professional development opportunities for their staff, which I think is so important and valuable"
"My husband, daughter, and I have been regularly frequenting this cafe for lunch. Unfortunately, I discovered mold on my breakfast sandwich recently. I had brought half of it home to eat the next day and upon putting it on my plate, it fell apart revealing mold on the sausage. We were hoping it was not mold, but we uploaded a photo to Chat GPT which confirmed that it is mold. It’s hard to see in the photo, but there are a couple smaller specks on the main part of the sandwich, which indicate mold spreading. I am disgusted and we will not be eating here again. This is very disappointing since we like patronizing local businesses. Check your food."
