from Google"I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food was incredible. The oyster stew was the best I’ve ever had. The fillet was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Surprisingly the potatoes had more flavor than I had ever anticipated. The asparagus was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfection. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service was fabulous.I cannot wait to go back."
"Came here on a whim with two friends from DC. We wanted some seafood happy hours and were thoroughly pleased stopping here! We tried the seasonal mules, the spiced apple cider mule was truly delicious. We got the wings, crab dip, and seasoned shrimp from happy hour menu. The crab dip was the STAR, it was soooo delicious. It will be my new go-to when coming back (We couldnt wait to dig in, so these photos are after we had begun eating off each plate)"
"My group of friends and I chose to dine in at the Annapolis Market House about a week ago following the Chocolate Binge Fest on West Street. Service was quick, prompt, and professional as they were able to accomodate to our group (and a last-second time change to the reservation). The view with Ego Alley outside the window is stunning and relaxing. These are the waterside atmospheres that I love to be around. There's a good selection of draft beers that I'd be willing to explore further (I had the Italian Pilsner). The food was also excellent as we took down crab dip and I enjoyed a hearty Rockfish Po Boy with fresh cut fries. Overall, a great experience and I'd loe to come back, try some more drinks, and even explore the Secret Spot pizza one day. I can't wait to come back!"
"We visited Annapolis Downtown with our dog and had a great experience. The servers were very nice and welcoming. It’s a pet-friendly restaurant—you can even sit inside with your dog, but we chose to dine outside since the weather was beautiful. They also have outdoor heaters, which made dining outside even more lovely. The food tasted great too. We will surely be back again! 🐾"
"Market House enjoys a prime location in downtown Annapolis, offering a clean, industrial vibe and a lively, modern atmosphere. It’s clearly designed to appeal to the tourist crowd—with an attractive setting and friendly, efficient service—but the food, unfortunately, doesn’t live up to the promise. The lobster roll was a letdown. Served cold with a bland, creamy dressing, it lacked the warm, buttery richness typically associated with a great lobster roll. The addition of lettuce felt misplaced, diluting the texture. While the portion of lobster was generous and the bun decently toasted, the overall flavor and execution fell flat. The crab cake entrée was similarly underwhelming. Though visually appealing with large chunks of crab, the cake lacked cohesion and fell apart with each bite. The crab itself wasn’t sweet or delicate, and the texture missed the mark—neither tender nor flaky. Most notably, it lacked seasoning, which was surprising for a Maryland crab cake and left it without the bold, briny flavor you’d expect from a regional staple. On a brighter note, the hand-cut fries were crisp, salty, and satisfying—easily the best part of the meal. Service throughout was friendly and prompt, helping to keep the experience efficient, even if not especially memorable. In the end, Market House feels more like a trendy pit stop for tourists than a destination for standout Mid-Atlantic seafood. If you’re a local or a food lover looking for authenticity and flavor, you’ll likely walk away disappointed. It’s fine for a casual drink or a quick bite, but not for a memorable culinary experience."
