from Google"My friend and I went here for brunch and it did not disappoint! I got the seafood omelette and it was amazing! The flavors worked so well together and the amount of seafood was fair for the price you pay. The home fries come with the meal and those were perfection. My friend ordered eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon. She said it was tasty but not nearly as good as the apple cinnamon Belgian waffles she also got. If you go, which you should, make sure to order the bread. It’s delicious. Not your typical French baguette. It’s served warm with what seemed to be house made butter. 10/10 would go again!"
"WOW! This restaurant was amazing! We were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary and the food, service and atmosphere made us feel like we were back in the Alsace region! We definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back!!! Very special!"
"Was expecting the best and got the worst! The reviews all sounded great but the truth hurts. We walked in on time , actually few minutes early for our reservation was greeted by a lost soul unsure of what to do, maybe it was her first day, we were seated next to a blazing hot fire place that made us feel like we were what was being cooked for dinner (next day met a local who told us yes that fireplace seat is a killer and to hot to sit next to), made the drinks warm and melted the butter it was so hot . The interior decor dated to the point that Gordon Ramsey would tear it all out , needs an extensive make over, service was pitiful, Tatiana our waitress took out drink order then came back for our dinner order, never saw her again after that till we asked a busser for the check, no visits to ask if we wanted another cocktail, no visits to see how anything was, the worst service ever, food runners dropped the food and ran, this was a Monday night and not horribly busy but food took forever and service non existent! Horrible Service. Food quality and menu, we tried a supposed signature dish the salmon with blueberries and a beurre blanc sauce , the blueberries did absolutely nothing we wondered before we ordered so we figured we’d try it and we’re left still wondering, just didn’t work, ordered the Chef Jean Louis special which is like a mini tasting menu of 4 dishes sounded splendid and a can’t miss boy were we wrong, the salmon blueberry concoction need we say more, the crab imperial which was ok, the shrimp provencale which was like scampi and a piece of filet mignon which was ordered medium and served so rare it was mooing, the website says Chef Jean Louis has been cooking since he was 13, with what was served a few cooking lessons along the way would have helped out tremendously. Our impression, good thing it’s in a tourist town as Jean Lousy has a steady stream of first time last time never going back suckers like us! Way better food, service and places to go!"
"Great lunch today!! Excellent food as always. Our seating beside the fireplace was nice on a cold day! We were welcomed by Randall & quickly seated! He was friendly and engaging with such a fun attitude! Our server, Alex, was helpful, also friendly and gave perfect service. BOTH staff members elevated our lunch with their friendliness, professionalism and great service. Thank you! We will be back😊"
