"The atmosphere of the place was nice and the restaurant was located in a convenient part of town. We shared the fried green tomatoes which were well done but needed salt. I ordered the Gravy Train that came with a biscuit, gravy, grits, collard greens, and fried chicken. While the dish was tasty I found it bland. In this instance more salt probably would have helped as well but they mention Cajun seasoning that is undectetable. I can't believe the iced tea was $5, that's ridiculous. The service was efficient but could have been more present and lacked charisma. However, I've been to the Miss Shirley's by Baltimore's Harbor that was what set my initial expectations really high. The place was okay but I wouldn't hurry back."

Our second day in town we went there for a delicious breakfast and loved it so much we went back again the next day. The food was great, the servers (Amber and Brittney) were friendly and attentive.
