What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"We had a really wonderful dinner in the dining room followed by drinks and dessert in the pub. Our servers were great. We loved the steak frites, shrimp and scallops and salmon risotto. Cream of crab was delicious but a little cold. Old fashioned and Aperol spritz were great. The pace of service was quick for ‘fine dining’ but we weren’t rushed out. Noah Teague Booz performing live was delightful. 100% recommend coming just for the vibes - oil lamps on the tables, fire in the fireplace. Perfect date night spot on a cold winter night. I super appreciate that you cannot hear the pub in the dining room. All of the spaces were pretty bright - good for accessibility but maybe took away from the ambiance. This is not a place for children. Can’t wait to come back!"
"My party of 3 came in for a Saturday night reservation and had the best experience! Our server was Madison/Madi who was prompt and polite. The atmosphere is like no other and we loved the candlelit dinner. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed my steak frites and the brown sugar bread pudding! After dinner, we went downstairs to the pub and enjoyed live music by Noah Teague Booz who we hope comes back to Reynolds Tavern soon!"
"I had afternoon tea here with a friend, we were sat and it took a while to get our orders from the waiter, not a big deal. However, we finally got our orders in, we got our first course appetizer and tea came out at a reasonable time. Disclaimer the artisan cheese tray comes with Ritz crackers. Our food took over an hour to arrive and it was just the finger foods nothing required being cooked. The tables around us had arrived after us and got their food before us. Food was okay and service felt like they were tending more to the larger parties versus a table for two. I just did not expect to leave over 2hrs later for tea & finger foods. Not a great experience. Thanks for replying, updating the review to add the cheese plate which only had one type of crackers as you mentioned it should have another assortment. Additionally I understand that it was not meant to be a rushed dining experience, however the time spent waiting was excessive. We arrived on time for our reservation at 2:15, we didn’t get our first course appetizer till 45 minutes later, and then proceeded to wait an additional hour for the finger food. If that’s how it’s normally done I don’t see why our waiter kept apologizing for the wait. Additionally paying for the check took another 20 minutes since the waiter decided to take another tables order. To add, a table behind us had a larger party who came after us, received their order and left before we did. If this is an expectation of the experience perhaps let your patrons know prior to making them wait for so long."
"What a downfall from what it used to sit be. We made the reservation for 4 at 4:30. Food did not arrive until 5:10. Clearly under staffed. The table was at the end a room on the left, and we were against the wall in front of a closed door. we could hear non stop dishes noises and feel a big draft under the door on our legs. I explained to that there was a draft and noise of clinking dishes through the door, however they did not accommodate a change of table, despite having space. We did not get the food quickly because per waiter there is “an order to serve food”. I told him that we had ordered food for the kids and tea for us, but he was adamant we had to finish the salad and cornbread first to keep serving. So one kid had no food. Wow that was patronizing, and frankly not great customer service. Meet their needs, no focus on our needs. 1 sandwich, 1 corn bread and 1 soup… and we ordered 2 teas: queen ann and afternoon. Cheese plater was ridiculously small and the champagne was hot. And it was not champagne tea, should be rebranded as bubbly. Don’t do it. Frankly the pastries were just bad. Seems like done in a pan and sliced into pieces. Gingerbread cookie was so hard we hardly could eat it. Same here don’t do the tea.scone were cold. As far as China, kettles are ugly not like they were in the past, charming. No warming device so the tea got cold quickly. No milk offered. Water glasses were not tendered to. I’m gave mine to my daughter. What can I say in addition it took forever to get the check. Very disappointed and disappointing Don’t loose your money go to a coffee shop down the road."
"Came here with a few of my girlfriends on a Thursday night. It was decently busy but nothing too bad which we liked, and it really is just a cute hidden gem in Annapolis. It is secluded and quiet but so lively and enjoyable. The atmosphere really is good and they were having live music which was so nice. Food was good and service was good. 10/10 for atmosphere!"
"Miss Shirley has that magic. The shrimp and grits, on top of fried green tomatoes, was amazing. Cured my common cold and made me two inches taller, it was..."
