"The shop itself is nice, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The selection is wide, but if you are into traditional single ingredient teas you will be dissapointed by their underwhelming selection. Under 10 single ingredient teas and prices are a bit higher than I think is worth it. Most of the teas are over 10$ per ounce. Highly reccomend the ruby oolong tho. Would rate higher if better selection of single ingredient teas."

"This store was wonderful and unlike any other tea shop I’ve been to. You can smell every tea mix, sugar and spice in store and they actually have a setup in the back where you can have any tea flavor in the store brewed for you (made hot or cold) and they can add any sugar variety that they carry! Such a fun way to experiment and taste some of the delicious options that the store is stocked with. My only suggestion would be for them to carry some cream/half and half/milk options to elevate and complement the teas they serve (I think they had like little containers of some lackluster creamer brand). Their staff were super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and I can’t wait to visit the next time that I’m in Annapolis!"

"A great place offering a wealth of smells between salts, spices, seasonings and teas! Despite being located on Main Street the prices are quite fair (unless compared to the incredibly cheap spice bazaars of Turkey). Each staff member we’ve worked with during our visits has been incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions based on our tastes and what we’re seeking. We’ve tried many of the teas, with our current favorites pictured (Sinfully Cherry, Craving Crusher, Beauty Rest), each delightfully serving their intended purpose! As far as spices go, we are HOOKED on the Black Truffle Garlic — we put it on everything. Now that we’ve kicked our keto diet we are looking forward to the Honey Truffle 🤤 Highly recommend a visit, if even just to smell the jars!"

"We walked in on a whim walking down Main Street after dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful like the other reviews have stated. I loved the layout of the store, décor, colors, storefront and the aromas. Great variety of spices, teas, salts, and sugars in the shop. They also have infusers, frozen drink mixes, postcard recipes (unique), etc. You can open up the big spices and smell them. One of the staff members greeted us when we walked in and let us do this to introduce us to how the store works. Spice and Tea Exchange is a store I can see myself buying gifts for the cooks and tea lovers in my family or group of friends or another random gift that the store carries that I mentioned. We will be back in the future if we come back to Annapolis and I will pick up some gifts this time."
