from Google"Surprised that I have never done a review for this place especially because I go so often so I figured l'a do something now lol. Since I have moved to Federal Hill in Baltimore, this has become one of my go to spots for brunch and for a good burger and beer during the week From the awesome bartenders to different kinds of drinks that match the season two new dishes on the menu they always have something new for me to try there. Prices are extremely reasonable and I'm certain days they have happy hour all day. They are also one of the few places in federal Hill that has happy hour on the weekends after brunch. If you're in the area and are looking to just grab a beer or a cocktail by yourself or with a group, this is definitely a good Spot. Ask for Amy she’s the best!"
"Good service but the food left something to be desired for sure. They also leave the windows open but the weather was like 60 degrees so I was pretty cold inside too. Not great for brunch unless you’re drinking because they have pretty good pitcher deals for $12. We just wanted French toast though. The eggs were also definitely from a bag which was disappointing for a $14 plate. They just need to improve the menu because the place was really cute. Good potential but please get the kitchen in order."
"My husband and I went to Aj's for brunch. We had never been so we were hoping it would be good. Well it was more than good. It was really good..like Super Good! The waitress Lauren was top notch! She made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The food was delicious! We got the Avocado toast with salmon. Also the big breakfast with 2 eggs, bacon, home fries, and the best Pancakes we've ever had! The young man that brought out our food was awesome and got us lots of extra syrup. Loved Loved it! Definitely will go back!"
"Aj’s has such an amazing atmosphere with amazing staff who go out of their way to make sure you are having an amazing experience. Especially our bartender jack who recommended the tiramisu espresso martinis to me which is such an amazing drink! Thank you for making our Sunday so amazing Jack !"
"I am not sure how to rate this place because I have visited twice (In one week). I visited on a Tuesday around 4 pm. We sat outside and the food was absolutely phenomenal! The food was so great my mom suggested that we take her there 4 Mother's Day brunch. I decided 2 take her there early so that we could get a seat inside because I knew it would be cold that day. We got a seat at the bar. The staff were great, but the food that day was horrible. Be mindful that the menu changes according 2 the time. On Mother's Day we had to select from the brunch menu. I ordered French toast that tasted more like just plain 'o cardboard toast. My daughter ordered waffles and chicken and the chicken was battered processed chicken u buy from the grocery store but worst. My mom ordered crab cake benny and although she did not enjoy the porch egg, she said the crab cake was delicious. The staff especially Lauren, our waitress, was extremely gracious and attentive. HOWEVER when we went on the Tuesday before the food was DELICIOUS! We ordered the crab cake egg rolls...There were 4 on a tray. I ate two which filled me up. 4 their meal, my husband & daughter ordered subs. My daughter ordered a chicken philly sub and my husband ordered a shrimp po boy. All of it was great but the po boy literally had a party going on in my mouth....It was absolutely great! I would select this place again but during dinner. Oh the parking is horrendous so be prepared 2 circle the block a few times and be prepared 2 read the same signs (that seem like u have 2 be a rocket scientist 2 understand) a thousand times Also, the day that u go hopefully it is not trash day. We went what seemed like the day before trash day and caught a wonderful wiff of trash yet even though we sat outside it did not bother us at all. The portions r huge!"
