from Google"Amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to the manager Joey for being so kind, attentive, and professional—it truly made the visit even better. You can tell this place is well-run and cares about its customers. I’ll definitely be back! (I got the teriyaki salmon) ABSOLUTELY DEVINE"
"Joey the Manager was absolutely amazing and very hospitable. He took our coats and was very welcoming for our first time. We got the crab cake and the seared duck and both tasted amazing. The atmosphere was very beautiful and we came a the day after Christmas so the festive decorations were beautiful. At the end of our experience, Joey took multiple photos of us to make the memory even more memorable. We would absolutely come back and recommend Ampersea to other people."
"What a lovely, perfect lunch, with a beautiful view of the Fells Point harbor! We were greeted by the very personable manager, Joey, and shown to an excellent outside table. The minute we sat down, the deck began filling up with people eager to enjoy lunch in a perfect spot. Our waitress, Cassidy, helped us choose a magnificent selection of dishes, from the Nova Scotia oysters and fried green tomatoes, to the lobster roll, shrimp and crab club, and crabcake sandwiches. We even had a terrific pair of desserts (3-layer chocolate cake and cheesecake with berries). Everything about this meal was perfect—the view, the service, the conversation with our server and other diners, and the precious sparrows looking out over the water. Thank you, Joey and Cassidy, for a wonderful afternoon in Baltimore."
"We wanted a special venue to celebrate our special 20th anniversary-and did this place take care of that! From the moment of our arrival, manager, Joey took care of us. Seated us in a lovely location with a window view at the harbor. The ambience of the lighting and decor were magical. Our waitress Alyssa was prompt and attentive. The menu offered several delicious options-bravo to the kitchen for such delicious dishes . We shared the Maryland crabcake and the short rib. Delighted to see a nice micktail menu. And then to top it off, Joey gifted us some lovely photos of us in the restaurant. We intend on making this a regular stop when we come to Baltimore."
"Our NYE dinner at Ampersea was a total win! We got dinner and a spectacular fireworks show, as it was perfectly located for both. Arriving at 10:30 p.m., we were greeted with fun NYE party hats and glasses. While there wasn't a special menu, the food was delicious! We shared mussels, and I had the melt-in-your-mouth short rib with perfect mashed potatoes and veggies. My boyfriend loved his mushroom risotto with its unique, sweet sauce. Dessert was a decadent chocolate cake. With minutes to spare, we stepped outside to witness an amazing fireworks display over Baltimore Harbor!"
