from Google & Yelp"⭐️⭐️ – Forgettable Food, Indifferent Vibes, and a Self-Service Tip Jar 🥯☕🤷♀️ Visited Dashery Café for breakfast today and honestly? Pretty underwhelming. The food was mediocre at best—I had a lox on an everything bagel and a latte, and neither one stood out. Not terrible, just completely forgettable. Like breakfast on autopilot. Service? A little off. Not rude, but definitely not warm. No greetings, no smiles, no check-ins, no “How was everything?”—just a very flat, transactional vibe. You order at the counter, pick up your food yourself, and then… you’re hit with a tip screen. For what, exactly? The privilege of not being spoken to? It’s the kind of place where you can tell no one’s having a bad day—they’re just not having any day. Zero energy, zero hospitality. Like brunch in grayscale. Overall: It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t good either. With so many better breakfast spots out there, I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back. Unless I suddenly crave silence, lukewarm lox, and awkward tipping."
"The food wasn’t all that and I had to keep getting up pretty much to serve myself. I ordered coffee. Had to go get up get that order. The food had to get up to pick that up too. They may have just opened or this just may be their normal way of service I’m not sure. I stumbled across the restaurant on my way to Royal Farms or 7-Eleven Cuz I want a cup of coffee. I was the only customer in there nevertheless a dine in Restaurant shouldn’t require me to keep getting up to get my own food and coffee. Great start to my Christmas lol on a good note. The coffee was pretty good will not be returning. Being the only customer I could’ve got better service."
"A quirky in all the right ways coffee place at the Hotel Revival our base of operations for our charm city getaway. We were greeted courteosly and the drinks were fresh, flavorful, and had the taste I expected from high-end niche cafes. The peachy tea was particularly great and the perfect accent to a walk around Mount Vernon"
"For vibes, this is the spot. Very art deco, and gold and shiny and there’s plants and a cool feeling. Egg sandwich was good but nothing crazy. Turkey bacon is available so that’s cool and a plus"
