from Google"My sister, Surreal W. Smothers, and niece, Madison, brought for my belated birthday Brunch. I had French Onion Soup, Duck and Waffles, and Eggs. Everything was simply delicious. The service was excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you!"
"I'm not sure where to start with Duck Duck Goose but it is hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in the city. Duck Duck Goose specializes in French cuisine and has seasonal menu items. When I visit, I always go with whatever duck dish they're serving paired with some Foi Gras. This occasion in particular was spectacular. The duck was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The sauce complemented the meat quite well and was savory but also tangy. The beans added a complementary contrast for the dish. Each bite was delectable. We also got the seasonal gnocchi which was also marvelous. I am always looking forward to coming here for special occasions (It is quite pricey) and am never let down. I highly recommend!"
"This is (or was?) my favorite restaurant in all of Baltimore. The food here is consistently great. They removed the grilled foie gras from the menu, but had duck liver pate as an alternative which was still pretty good. My favorite is the duck fried rice, and you can never go wrong with the Escargot. I would rather have a baked Camembert instead of deep fried, but it was pretty good. Overall, I left with the feeling that they are making the menu more American and less French, and this breaks my heart. The truly awful part of my latest visit was the service. The waiter had NO idea what he was doing. He missed part of the order and forgot about our drinks. Most of the evening he was MIA, and never cleared the table before bringing the next dishes or the bill."
"A cozy little festive spot with some seriously fancy and delicious food! The prices were a bit high, but the quality was top notch and the servers definitely can point you in the right direction based on your preferences. I really enjoyed the cocktail menu, and the burger and fried rice were both excellent. If you're in downtown Baltimore and want something a bit fancy, you should definitely check this place out."
"Very delicious food. We chose to go here for our last day of a short stay in Baltimore and we were not disappointed. The seats were fairly comfortable, although we had a booth table. On a Thursday evening it was not busy. My fiancée and I ordered appetizers and shared an entree, which I would do again. The flavors were excellent, especially on the duck confit, the steak tartare, and the escargot. I'd recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert. We also tried the pavlova. The latter was fun for the novelty, but I didn't find the flavors to be too interesting (especially in comparison to everything else). Portions were a little small, but we didn't mind. The prices, I think, while high for the area, were below what we've seen in other cities for high quality French cuisine, so I have no doubt the restaurant has close margins here. Service was quite attentive. All in all, I recommend coming here. Maybe not the place if you're starving and just want to stuff your face ; instead, you'll enjoy dishes that make you feel like it's fine dining. Our subtotal was around $100 for two people with three appetizers, an entree, and two desserts. Not bad at all for a date night!"
