from Google"Beautiful property in an awesome location, and loved the cafe downstairs. Unfortunately though, there were some design choices in the (small) room that I felt made it impractical. There was just a single hook to hang clothes from, the shower in our room, while gorgeous, splashed water all over the bathroom while in use, and the lack of control over the heat/ac was very frustrating. It would have been less frustrating not being able to flip on the AC if we were able to sleep with our windows open, but unfortunately the only windows in our room with screens led out to the back deck which had direct access from the alley so we didn't feel comfortable leaving those windows wide open all night. There were also large gaps under the door to the room so you could pretty clearly hear people walking by/conversations in the hallway. Awesome service, beautiful property, killer location, but I don't know that I would stay there again."
"My husband and I booked the Pyramid room for a little staycation. Every single detail of the hotel has been thoughtfully curated to enhance your experience. From the candle burning in the lobby when we checked in, to the white noise machine, to the toiletries, to the most comfortable bed with the fluffiest pillows and the perfect sheets. Guesthouse by Good Neighbor is in a great location with lots of food/drink options within walking distance. You also get a complimentary drink each day of your stay at Good Neighbor which is arguably the best cafe in the city! Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!"
"Stayed at Guesthouse by Good Neighbor in Baltimore for a work trip, and it totally surprised me—in a good way. The vibe is more of a retreat than a traditional hotel, with beautifully designed rooms and a calming wood aesthetic throughout. The scent of the wood alone made the space feel cozy and elevated. Not sure I’d call it super handicap accessible, but I imagine the staff would be happy to accommodate where they can. The coffee shop downstairs is a gem—some of the best coffee I’ve had in a while. I got a free coffee with my stay and a discount on a great breakfast sandwich, which was a nice touch. The snacks in the room were also top-notch. The neighborhood isn’t touristy, but there are some really solid local restaurants nearby. Parking is street-only, but manageable. Would definitely come back—maybe more for a personal getaway than business next time."
"Really amazing and unique boutique hotel. Beautifully curated rooms and lobby, great high-end toiletries and furniture. Amazing interior design. Super nice and communicative staff. Also, really good value relative to nice hotels in the area.. great deal. Huge fan of good neighbor"
"I reserved a block of rooms at GGN for my family and friends for my wedding this past March. The wedding was at Woodberry Kitchen, less than 10min away. GGN was the PERFECT place for my family and friends to stay during my wedding weekend. They all gushed about it the entire time. They loved everything about the interior, the location, the cafe downstairs, and the complimentary coffee every morning. They all want to come back and stay here when they visit me again. I got ready here the morning of my wedding day in Room 201 (pictured). There was plenty of space for my hair and make up to be done, and a full length mirror. If you have a Woodberry Kitchen wedding planned -- book GNN!! You won't regret it. Whether it is a staycation or a weekend trip for those visiting, I recommend GGN to everyone."
