"We popped in for a few espresso martinis before a concert. Seriously the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. According to our server they changed the recipe, and added a new cold brew. She told us to get the classic (their old version). It was a slight up charge but worth it. Definitely will be returning for food. The vibe was charming and the service was great. The restaurant has authentic Irish music playing, and a great vibe. Also, family friendly."

"Loved our visit to James Joyce this evening. Stopped by for a dinner with work colleagues while in town for a conference. Servers was very friendly and attentive. Management came by to check in on us which was a nice touch. Food was delicious. Old bay shrimp was so good and i loved their cucumber salad. 🍅 Warm cozy feel inside... very nice Reisling as well...We will definitely be back for a visit next time we are in town."

"Compliments to Katie our hostess who was very knowledgeable about the menu items and attentive. Outdoor and Indoor seating a plus as we enjoyed the seasonally warm weather outdoors for brunch. Well stocked Irish Pub in a really nice part of town."

"First time trying James Joyce. I brought my senior family to Inner Harbor for the first time (for them). They really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of this spot. I’m a restaurant snob so I did find some lack luster traits during our visit. The cheese curds were ok. Too much marinara sauce served with the appetizer. And to be honest, they weren’t that great but we ate them. The brown bread is pricey for a small loaf at $10. I enjoyed the brown butter that accompanied it. Our table got a roast beef dip and two Reuben sandwiches. In my experience, Reuben sandwiches are grilled, these were toasted. I did not personally eat one but my guests said it was tasty. They enjoyed how the meat was not super sliced and had chunks of meat in them and the meat’s tender texture. The roast beef was a miss for me, along with the fries. Beef was not sliced thin enough for the sandwich. A bit chewy and dare I say rubbery? It seemed like it was resting a while before we were served, which made the cheese congealed and dried the meat out at the cut. The fries were a mix of old and fresh, along with them being over salted. To put my review plainly, I would go there for drinks and skip the food. They really missed the mark for me with the overall quality of food. The staff was super friendly and humored my father, who loves to tease and make jokes. Waitress 💯 and bartender 💯. It’s just that food 👎🏼"

"Stopped here for a late night snack after an Orioles game at Camden yards. They have a late night food menu which has a few different appetizers and entrees, we landed on fish & chips and loaded chili cheese fries— accompanied by a couple pints of Guinness (of course). Everyone enjoyed the food. There was a live band playing inside which was pretty loud, so we sat outside on the patio which had a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive."
