"soooo gas. the sushi chef is a beast. when my partner and i arrived we were the only ones there and then we watched all the tables quickly fill up. it’s a small venue but 5 full tables of orders and several pick up orders were all handled by this one guy it was awesome. there was somewhat of a wait but because we saw someone pick up three FULL bags of food amidst two or three other pick up orders, but that’s completely expected since it was fr just this one chef on the bar. he really banged everything out tho it was crazy impressive. the sushi itself was so fresh and the portions were huge. we got the miso soup (gas, as expected), eel avocado roll, salmon roll, tuna and mango roll, and spicy yellowtail with cucumber. cost was also way better than a lot of other places for the same amount of food. wait staff was super nice and attentive as well. :-)"

"If you like sushi, then go to Kiku. They offer massive maki rolls loaded with fresh fish and toppings. They have a very small dining area so go early and grab a table. The service was slow (very slow) but it was worth the wait once we saw our platters. The double salmon roll was beyond words. No skimping on the fish at this place. We also got a roll that was topped with mango salsa, a firecracker roll..... all of the rolls tasted fresh and amazing. We got a shumai appetizer, but it was extremely small and served Luke warm, probably frozen, not homemade. We will skip that next time. The quality and value of our food was top-tier and I look forward to going back to Kiku. I have been looking for a great sushi place for a long time and I can finally say that I've found it!!"

"Although the service was a bit slow even in the 5 table restaurant, I could understand why it was packed even with people waiting for carry out orders. The sushi was phenomenal— freshness, portion, presentation, all of it. They even added a few extra pieces for us which I assume was for the wait…nonetheless very much appreciated!!! Not a Baltimore local but highly recommend Kiku Sushi if you’re in the area craving some fresh catches😋🐟🍣"

"I was genuinely impressed! The salmon avocado roll was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the house salad was so simple yet delicious. The shumai was perfectly done too. Such a small spot with huge flavor—definitely a hidden gem!"

"Best sushi in the DMV! the fish is so fresh and they dont skimp on the fish in the rolls either. They also have some of the best speciality rolls out there, especially their rolls with the real crab! They also always offer a little bonus sushi piece which is always greatly appreciated :) staff super friendly as well. I always make sure to stop by here when I'm in Baltimore."
