"This is hands down my favorite vegan restaurant in Baltimore! Always professional, clean, the whole staff and owner are always friendly! It’s some of the best vegan food I’ve had and the drinks are always better than what I’ve had elsewhere! (Best Espresso martini, Bellini and Old fashioned I’ve ever had). I had Allison today as my server, we’ve had her before and she remembered us! It’s always a time coming here!"

"Oleum Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for the best vegan food in Baltimore! I went with a friend for a girls’ dinner and we were so impressed. The vegan pizza and pasta were fresh, flavorful, and came out so quickly. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, which made ordering a breeze. I also have a nut allergy, and their allergen menu made ordering safe and stress-free, such a thoughtful touch! What really stood out was that owner and head chef, Alisha Adibe, personally checked on us multiple times throughout the night. Her hospitality and passion for vegan cuisine were clear in both the food and the service. If you’re searching for vegan pizza, pasta, or overall, an incredible restaurant in Baltimore, Oleum is the place. I’ll DEFINITELY be back!"

"As a non vegan, I really enjoyed Oleum. The service was fantastic and the food was equally as delicious. Great addition to the Fells/Harbor East neighborhood. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Favorites of the night: PB&J Old Fashioned, white bean soup, wedge salad and the butternut squash risotto (but everything was great!)"

"We had an excellent dinner at Oleum. The food is outstanding—remarkable for a vegan restaurant and impressive by any standard in Baltimore. The kale salad was exceptional, and every other dish was thoughtfully prepared and well executed. High marks across the board for the kitchen, and I don’t say that lightly. I have two criticisms, one typical and one not. First, the restaurant is very loud. Between the music and the packed dining room, conversation was difficult—though it is genuinely great to see a vegan restaurant thriving. My second criticism is more serious. Our waitress wore a necklace depicting a map of Israel covered by a Palestinian flag. While she was otherwise a kind and professional server, this symbol is not politically neutral. Challenging Israel’s right to exist in this way is antisemitic, whether or not that is the wearer’s intent. Wearing such a symbol while working in a restaurant is no different from wearing imagery hostile to any other ethnic or religious group. I understand that opinions about the current conflict, Netanyahu, and Israel’s military response vary widely. But erasing Israel entirely crosses from political critique into hatred. A Palestinian flag alone would be controversial; a Palestinian flag covering Israel is especially troubling. I hope this is received in the spirit intended: not as a personal attack, but as a reminder that symbols like this can alienate and harm others—and that they have no place in a hospitality setting."

"My husband & I stopped by Oleum for some drinks and appetizers last week, and were so impressed with everything we had! We sat at the bar, and Al the bartender was so friendly & gave us some great recommendations! The PB&J Old Fashioned was delicious, and the mezze & gnocchi hit the spot! We can’t wait to go back to try more from this cute little spot in Fells."
