Once we ordered and sat down our friends also got desserts; the chocolate mouse and the cherry cheesecake. Both desserts where gone before our meal was ready. Absolutely delicious! Then food slowly became ready and boy was it smelling good. Burgers, BLT's, Chicken tenders, Chicken and waffles! All of it amazing!! Gorgeous! By the end of out meal we were very confused why the cafe had a 1 star review."
"The food is okay. Chicken tenders are randomly spicy - bad for kids. Also, there are no lines and the staff do nothing to organize checking out. Instead, people just shamble until they're able to check out. Terrible system"
"Hello, I am writing this review primarily to get the attention of management of the cafe at the national aquarium. My family and I are vegan and we recently visited the aquarium this weekend. We were upset to find that you have removed the vegan crab cake sandwich from the menu. I see that you replaced it with some other vegan options but they absolutely fell short of the mark. That vegan crab cake sandwich was amazing, and honestly it was a big part of our families decision to become members and make a trip to Baltimore once every month or two part of our routine family activities. Honestly, as great as the aquarium is, if you don’t bring the vegan crab cake sandwich back we likely will not be renewing our membership. Finding good vegan food that is easy to incorporate into our family activities is so difficult, and we were so excited to have this as an option, and terribly sad to see it go. Please bring back the vegan crab cake and I will gladly elevate this review to five stars."
"We ordered our food online, which was an onerous process requiring response to a post order post paying email. They did not honor our requested order time at all. Waited 45 minutes for food after our online order promised delivery time. For the price paid, the food was meh or did not match online photos at all. Do yourself a favor and either solely eat from the grab and go or do not eat here at all."
"The ordering kiosks are not working properly. The chicken tenders were meaty and bad. I ordered a double cheeseburger, but it was not good and it had fake cheese on it that tasted like cheez wiz… The restaurant was understaffed, but the service is fine. The place was empty, and I paid $41 for food that was worse than the food at McDonald's. Aquarium food fell off BIG TIME, now my stummy hurt. The cotton candy was good, though."
