"My girl and I stop in here every other weekend, every time the food is great, the vibe is great, and the pastry selection is vast and various. The staff are always pleasant to deal with, and the seating is typically available when they don't have a crazy rush. I love their omelets and the croissant breakfast sandwiches( I usually add hot sauce or salt and pepper depending on the mood), and the quality of food is damn good for breakfast. Here the food is fresh, light, and bright, so I tend to get 2 items as I used to frequent the "griddle" style breakfast spots that would set you on your ass for the day. The coffee, slaps, with seasonal flavors playing a fun roll in mixing up the experience when we go, they have an espresso machine which allows for some red eye activities. Parking is reasonable, on the street, it is also walking distance from a few other nearby areas, with some pedestrian friendly sidewalks and bikelanes on the way from where we are in Mt Vernon. We will be returning on a relatively non regular basis (because routines are not living) but you can bet we will have a fantastic time."

"This was a somewhat elevated bakery experience. They have some nice looking pastries but they didn't taste quite fresh. I got the raspberry tart. There was lots of table space, so it seems like a nice place to get some work done. Perhaps worth a second visit!"

"The service was very good, helpful and friendly start. The Doppio Ristretto was strong and a very smooth blend. Only downside when we visited was the air-conditioning was not working due to building maintenance. Highly recommended for coffee, pastries and sandwiches."

"Such a WONDERFUL addition to the neighborhood! Grateful they’re only 1 block from my home because their pastries are addictive and their staff are so warm and welcoming. From the street looking in, you don’t realize that there’s quite a bit of seating in the back! I hope to bring my supplies here to work during the work week or work on small illustrations when I’m off. The pastries are FANTASTIC! As a baker and previously in the specialty coffee industry, I can say this place has great food and their drinks are not bad (I don’t love the brand of coffee they brew but they put care into my cup which makes a difference)! You cannot go wrong with ANY of the flaky pastries with gorgeous lamination between each buttery layer. I have not been disappointed by any! The texture is so fresh, perfectly balanced flavors, and motivate me through each work day haha. Wishing them well as they settle as part of the community. It’s good to have variety for these kinds of shops along with the other great cafes. If service remains fantastic and they treat their employees right, I can see them lasting a good, long while!"
