"I popped into Ruben's on a whim the Tuesday before Thanksgiving while in the Federal Hill area for "breakfast"...lol!. Although it's a small shop it caught my eye with their walk up window and menu. Ring the bell they slide open the window and you place your order. It happened to be Taco Tuesday so I ordered two chickens tacos with came to under $5! Prep time is fairly quick, order was back out the door in about 5 minutes. The portions are great as well as fresh and adorned with parsley and freshly grated white onions. I also love that their condiment packets are square shaped packets that allow you to see the sour cream, special sauce , and red sauce. The tacos were sooo fresh and delicious! So much so that my mom sent me back for an order of her own after she saw mine."

I got the gas station burrito—don’t let the name fool you. It was incredibly filling, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor in every bite. They don’t skimp on sauce either—everything came with generous portions that made the meal even better. You can tell they care about the details and the taste. Parking is the only downside—parallel, paid street parking only—so plan ahead. But honestly, it’s 100% worth the hassle. This place feels like a true local favorite, and now I know why. Can’t wait to go back or check out other locations."

"I’ve never wrote a review before, but this food was so nasty to me I felt like I needed to do my due diligence and tell my story to others 😂. I got two chicken tacos and a steak taco. I added pickled onions and all the other sauces once I reached home. The meats don’t have any flavor, the steak was actually too tough. I also got some rice and beans, both are nasty to me. Then I also got some guac which taste like they used overripped avocados to make. Completely wasted my time and money. Good luck if you go here…"

"Probably THE late night spot in the Fed Hill area. They are strategically open until 3AM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2AM on Thursdays. Some of their burritos are absolutely legendary and really hit the spot on a night out. The group favorites are the Gas Station burrito, the Founder Burrito, and the Cali Burrito. Definitely a must try if you're in the area."
