"This is the one of the most unique eateries we have experienced. What a little gem of a find, as we ambled out of the Walter hungry for a bite. Only complaint is that the signage was too subtle and we almost missed it. Turns out that the restaurant is working with the historical society to improve this. Now to the FOOD. So creative! The menu has innovative options that you simply don't find these days. True creativity with the meldings of cultures and tastes and textures. A complete delight, we ordered the bulgogi melt and the Tandoori chicken with chickpea batter. DELICIOUS. Where else can you find a Cuban, next to a Ugandan dish, next to a Banh mi?? I can't say enough about the melting pot of foods offered on this diminitive menu, and for such affordable prices. Loved the ambience and the origin story of this place. We chatted up our friendly server, and got all the info on the founder, his vision and the evidence of his design skills throughout the place. This cafe can hold its own amongst differentiated newcomers in much bigger cities. Fascinating and fun, and exactly the type of unique, forward-thinking, fresh local business I like to support. Please try it, and see for yourselves why Baltimore is lucky to have this little jewel of cafe!"

"Amazing food and amazing service. It’s currently soft opening but it’s as if it has been open for years. Was in Baltimore two days and went twice in a row. The bulgogi melt (which I ate before I could get a pic and Katsu curry were phenomenal!!!! For a grand finale, the EARL GREY CREME BRÛLÉE WAS MAGNIFICENT!! such an innovative and exquisite dish. Sydney is also the coolest and kindest server who knows the menu front and back and is so welcoming. Coming back here again next time I’m In Maryland"

"I’m visiting from NYC and wanted a good steak at 8pm. Naturally my options were slim. I found this quaint spot on google - first impression “boutique thrift store” - greeted by a lovely server, service was excellent throughout. The only steak dish was steak frites so that’s what I ordered - the cut was flatiron, ordered medium rare but was more medium than rare…flavors were good but super small portion looks like garnish for fries. The staff/decor/menu all eclectic but not bad. If I return it wouldn’t be for the steak."

"A hidden gem, where I hope to become a regular! The place is so beautifully decorated, it would be a spectacular date spot. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. Our server and the bartender were charismatic and attentive; the whole experience was top notch!"

"The place and the waitress(sorry, forgot to ask her name but all the 5 stars are for her). The rustic decor of the place, the food every thing was great! We ordered Pakora, Beignets, Taiwanese chicken and Cauliflower and flavored rice( sorry for messing the names). The cauliflower dish was bland and I wish there was a gravy on the side. But I won’t complain much because the service was amazing!"
