What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Cornucopia in Bethesda, Maryland is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by delightful pastries, perfectly seasoned chips, rich oils, and food essentials that bring flavors from across the globe. Every shelf feels like a passport stamp from another country. My favorite indulgence is the Caprese with Mozzarella di Bufala sandwich—complete with balsamic, virgin olive oil, and fresh bread. It’s simple, authentic, and bursting with freshness. Each bite feels like a quick trip to Italy. Cornucopia is more than a market; it’s a sensory experience that makes you slow down, savor, and appreciate the beauty of real food. A true Bethesda treasure."
"Great subs and cool Italian made packaged goods! Homemade dessert looks delicious but I only got the Italian with pastrami."
"Every area has its hidden gems. Cornucopia is that gem in Bethesda. My personal recommendations are the foods made in-house. Incredible bread, sandwiches, lasagna, ravioli, and the best cannoli I've ever had. There are a ton of great Italian specialty products to make your next home-cooked meal delicious and authentic. Santino is super friendly and helpful. Support this local small business!"
"The absolute best sandwiches around. Owner is such a great guy. Makes you feel like you are part of the family."
"Such a great little Italian throwback deli in Bethesda. Don't find em like this too often. Price is high but one feels good supporting this small business. American Carnevale is my go to. Sandwiches are all served with balsamic/olive oil dressing, arugula and tomatoes on an amazing roll that's been warmed in a toaster oven. The market is a fun little place to walk around and try and find obscure Italian items. Been going here for years."
"My favorite place for cappuccino! The best cappuccino for sure. Fresh, dangerously delicious pastries and lots of healthy options. Highly recommended"
