The hostesses took care of me and didn’t just place me at the bar just because I was solo. The high top around the bar was perfect and the bartender/server immediately greeted me and took care of me. The fact that they carry Nearest Green whiskey is a huge bonus in my book. Food was great, service was excellent. Atmosphere was just what I needed."

"I visited Matchbox last night with coworkers for a team dinner. The service was strong. Our server managed a large group with ease and kept drinks flowing with solid pours throughout the night. The space is very casual and relaxed. Plenty of TVs make it a good spot to unwind after a long day. Two areas could use improvement. The dining room was noticeably warm, so plan to dress in layers. The food was decent but underwhelming. I ordered the shrimp and crab pasta. The shrimp was overcooked, and the “crab” felt more like a flavor than an ingredient. There was very little actual crab in my dish and in a coworker’s as well. Overall, not a bad experience. With better temperature control and more attention to flavor and ingredient quality, it could be much better."
"Service was incredibly efficient and friendly. If you can request her, Amayah is the perfect balance of taking care of her customers and giving them space to have a good conversation. Food was also delicious--great crunch on the pizza and delectable desserts."
