What People Are Saying
from Google"Andrew is a great bartender. He was extremely attentive and helpful (especially being an out of towner)! I wish I could of seen before the renovation to compare and contrast, but wow, this place is looking great. Whiskey selection is amazing, the sliders are definitely delicious. Thanks for the amazing experience!!!"
"Dined here for the first time to have lunch and overall had a great experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an amazing staff member and were seated immediately. Our server was great as well and was very attentive to our needs the entire visit. I ordered the catfish sandwich with fries and I was impressed by the portion sizes of both. I would suggest that the catfish be seasoned so that there's flavor. It tasted pretty bland but the sauce put on it helped. The fries were amazing though! Prices here are reasonable and I would recommend it."
"This is perfect for a group of friends/family to dine! The food is good, especially the fresh oysters, chicken wings and banana bread pudding! There are a lot of other good foods as well! I kept watching this train over top of us move around and of course that makes you look at all the beautiful planes ✈️ that are mounted to the ceiling. There are also these beautiful ships 🚢 for decoration and it’s really fascinating! The customer service is always great and of accommodating! I will recommend always."
"Visiting DMW area for an American University frat event. We went to Clyde’s late night bc they were the only local place open until 1AM which is super convenient. We arrived around 10:45PM so we had to order off of the “late night” menu (there’s a regular menu for earlier hours with way more options than the late night menu). I had a glass of Rosé & the bolognese as my entree (3/5, bland but not too bad). I would dine here again. Good energy, quick service. They are renovating the bottom level near the restrooms so the walls are currently plastic taped off but I’m sure it’s going to look great when Reno is complete. Parking: you can park in the garage to the left of Clyde’s (2 min walk over). The host will validate your parking slip as long as your stay is under 3 hours. Payment for parking is $3 for 1 hour, $6 for 2 hours, etc. Over all great experience (3.8/5)."
"I came for brunch at 2PM on a Sunday (Father’s Day). There was no wait, so I was seated immediately. It took a while - about 10 minutes- for my server to greet me, although she did bring water and take my order promptly. The decor is so fun! Americana and all things planes, trains and automobiles. They have a toy train that operates on the ceiling. It’s a large venue, so it was loud but tolerable - very similar to Cheesecake Factory in size and dining experience. The food - just ok. Overall assessment is that it’s overpriced for the quality. - Crab soup: for being $8.99, it had very generous chunks of crab meat! However, it was more of a chowder than soup. It was extremely heavy and very cream-based, which unfortunately overpowered the crab flavor. - Cheeseburger sliders: served cold, cheese was not melted, and they were overcooked and very, very dry. Definitely not worth ordering. - French toast: The turkey sausages were great; caramelized on the outside and perfectly cooked. I loved the fresh cream, strawberries, and 100% maple syrup. However, the French toast itself was lukewarm and it didn’t seem like it had been well-coated in the egg mixture before cooking. - Brownie sundae: best part of the meal. I opted out of the chocolate sauce. The brownie was served warm with two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream, fresh cream, almonds and a cherry. Definitely suitable to share between 2-3 people. Glad I tried it, but I won’t be coming back."
