"This place has a great atmosphere where freedom and relaxation come first. It’s perfect for hanging out with a group, and if you're lucky, you might catch some live music—like we did during our visit! The vibe is cozy, and the prices are pretty reasonable. The only downside was a mix-up with my pizza order, and while the one I received was okay, it could have been cooked a little more. However, the coffee was great, and the service was decent, though I expected my full order to arrive a bit faster. Overall, it’s a nice spot, especially if you enjoy a laid-back setting with live music!"

"Very disappointed… it’s always the case with any food spot in Old Ellicott City. Just because a place has been there for a while and considered “local” doesn’t mean it’s good. I spent $23 on a lobster roll… what I ended up getting was a hotdog bun with imitation crab on it. Their beignets were doughy and frozen cold with the most suspicious filling I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is okay but the wait + time makes me down right confused why this place is rated so high. Bland coffee… I’m just genuinely curious why people like this place. I’m sure the owners are kind but there’s always room for improvement. From what I can see from the counter behind the register; it did not look clean at all."

"Quaint outdoor seating. Even in the rain! Too much sugar in the matcha tho. They should use pure matcha powder instead of the premixed one where you have no option to not have extra sugar. Great staff."

"The girl on staff today was incredibly helpful and patient; very much appreciated the guidance as we were navigating the menus. Excellent setting for an early morning coffee on a hot summer day. Loved the outdoor setting an more intimate atmosphere. Will come back."

"I am writing this review in hopes that I will be able to make contact with the owners. I came across your establishment by accident in 2023 and since then I have been a constant customer. My daughter attended a private institution near your business and we frequently patron for the delicious food and drinks. Since then, as a traveling nurse, whenever I am in the ellicott city area I schedule my clients to make sure that I can stop in 2-3 times a week for a delicious pastry and a latte. On October 31st, I was working and decided to stop by in between patients to grab a late lunch. The door was open and customers were waiting for their orders. I waited for about 5 minutes, only to be approached by a young lady with dark, long hair who told me “sorry we’re closing early and we can’t help you.” I was flabbergasted and told her that I had been there waiting patiently and the door was not closed nor was there a closed sign. She ignored my concerns and told me sorry she would not be helping me. I then asked for the owners name, in which she rolled her eyes and told the person at the counter to quickly take my order. Fast forward to today, I stopped by for a latte and ordered from the fall menu. Unfortunately I chose a drink that I did not realize had espresso shots and I asked for a chai tea latte instead. The gentleman at the counter was really kind and offered to make the new drink. I left and was headed to my next patient when I realized I was given a chai tea and not a latte. I called hoping to have the drink remade but was instead offered a refund. I agreed to the refund and waited 20 min to make sure it would show up on my card. When it did not, I called and asked that they put the refund through as it was closing time. The same young lady came on the phone and began to tell me they were busy and she would do the refund when she had time. She was rude and kept cutting me off as I was speaking. When I asked for her name she again told me she was busy and did not have time to speak to me. Eventually she told me her name is Luisa, which I am not sure if I should believe. I have not received the refund but I am most upset and disappointed at the abhorrent customer service that this young lady provides. She is rude, dismissive, and really does not care about the customers. I have never encountered this behavior and I am sad that this is the representation of your business. Again I would like to speak to an owner and I am hoping that someone will reach out to me."
