From the moment you walk through the door, you’re wrapped in the most incredible aroma of freshly roasted coffee and house-made chocolates. This place is an absolute gem: cozy, beautifully decorated, and filled with so much heart. Every barista is genuinely friendly, and takes real pride in crafting the perfect drink. The coffee is outstanding—locally roasted, rich, and perfectly extracted whether you get a pour-over, latte, or their seasonal specials. Their chocolate is also very well made and delicious! They also have pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and avocado toast made fresh daily. Plenty of gluten-free and vegan options too. The indoor seating is comfy and inviting, and the little patio out back is perfect on nice days. What really sets Brooke’s House apart is the mission: every cup and chocolate you buy directly supports women in recovery through their residential program. Knowing your morning coffee or afternoon treat is helping change lives makes it taste even better. Easily the best coffee shop in Western Maryland. Five stars, endless refills, all the love."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. The coffee we ordered had good flavor. The raspberry cigar roll pastry had good flavor and might have been great had it been oven warmed (not microwave) about 5 minutes. But they did ask if I wanted it warmed and it's my fault for not saying yes. I always assume that warmed up means microwaved. I would come again to this establishment."

"Our favorite place to go for coffee, and it doesn't matter what you get because everything is worth trying. Very friendly staff, everything is made with love, and the only donuts I eat come from Brooke's. (Love the donut with frosting and sprinkles) Make sure you check out their thrift store. 10/10"

"My husband and I have been coming here every Saturday morning (when we can) for the past year or two and it always feels weird when we don't start the weekend here. They have the sweetest ladies, the chocolates are divine (those toffee bars man...), and the coffees and chais are so comforting. The bands also make the atmosphere so friendly, so it's a no brainer to come back again and again. And their dessert catering was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! They were our immediate decision when we wanted a dessert table for our wedding, and I (plus our guests) still can't get over how stunning it was. Our wedding was not typical to say the least, and they were completely on board and enthusiastic with every detail of it. We of course wanted their chocolates on the table, but we also had some ideas for our cake pop display as we didn't want an actual full wedding cake. "The muffins were so good, we tried 4 different ones. They have multiple different things to indulge in, such as chocolates, fudge, cookies, and even sandwiches. My favorite part is the coffee or lattes. They are so good and have very competitive prices with local and big-name coffee spots."
