"Beans & Dreams - Nektario’s Place is a delightful and delicious community cafe serving great coffee and tasty snacks and breakfast sandwiches in Middletown, Maryland! This specific location is named after its CEO, Nektario, and is fashioned after him with phrases and quotes from him over many of the walls. On top of having very well made food and great coffee, each Beans & Dreams location focused on giving work opportunities to young adults with disabilities. Everyone there that I interacted with was so kind and open, and it was amazing to see such a beautiful location going fully in on giving such amazing opportunities to its workers. I ordered an iced mocha, a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant, and a bag of cookies. Everything was very tasty and made with care. Can’t wait to return!"

"On a recent roadtrip, my husband and I took a 4 mile detour to find a good cafe, not wanting to patronize the usual commercial coffee shops that virtually have a monopoly on our highways. We were not disappointed that GPS took us to Beans and Dreams, a charming cafe with a touch of Greek tastes and a warm ambiance. The pastries and coffee were delicious and unique. And my husband almost couldn’t pull himself away from the engaging team that served us with genuine smiles. I wholeheartedly recommend the portokalopita and kataifi. Yummy!"
