from Google"This is such a lovely cafe! I believe the person who took my order was either the owner or a higher up, and he was so sweet. He took the time to explain the menu to me, when I was confused on certain drinks. I ended up getting a strawberry matcha, and the matcha was delicious! It was not bitter at all, and in fact was a smooth matcha. I would definitely order this drink again. It didn’t take long for our drinks to be made either! The cafe was so cozy, with beautiful decor. I would definitely recommend this cafe and come back!"
"I stopped by Ding Cafe in Rockville (formerly Ding Tea) and tried their avocado smoothie with 0% sugar and boba — and honestly, it was so good! 🥑🧋✨ The flavor was super creamy, fresh, and satisfying even without sugar. The boba was soft and chewy, just perfect. 😍👍 Definitely a drink I would come back for! 💯😋"
"Nice and cozy place to hang out with good drinks and snacks. The new menu with different styles of coffees and matcha (ceremonial grade!) drinks is so good. On top of that the BOGO promotion made it unbeatable. Will come back for more!"
"As someone who eats a lot of fresh fruits and veggies every day, I am more into real taste and don’t typically reach out for boba tea too often. However, Ding Cafe’s new menu got me right at “ceremonial grade matcha”. Their Matcha Einspanner is such an interesting twist of the matcha bowl I had in Japan years ago. The creamy oatmeal at the bottom and the salted foam at the top somehow bring out the freshness and the signature taste of matcha, which I absolutely love. Their matcha is definitely high grade. You can tell from the deep, vibrant green color near the top. Not the faint mint color, nor the faint, barely-there matcha flavor like some matcha drinks I had before. This drink still preserves the frothy, smooth texture, and the fresh taste of real matcha, minus the bitterness. It is quite a pleasant drink, both for your taste and your eyes. I was recommended to skip the straw, and sip directly from the cup. It obviously tasted better that way. Banana coffee was quite a unique drink I tried from the new menu. As weird as it sounds, it captured all of my senses right at the first sip. This one has strong flavor from both banana and coffee. And both go surprisingly well together. I would definitely recommend everyone to try it. It could totally be your new favorite. My husband ordered the Coco Avocado Coffee and he so enjoyed it. Quite a cup of coffee with a nice tropical twist. It has a rich, creamy flavor from coconut and avocado. Yet everything somehow is still light and balanced. I like its marble look too. The soy beancurd is also a nice dessert. I like its light weight, easy melting texture. The brown sugar syrup is a bit sweet, but it is well balanced with the boba and the beancurd itself. Overall, we love everything we try today. Will definitely come back and try out other drinks on the menu. P/S: Love the festive decor!"
"Since Ding has opened to now I feel like their service and drinks have stayed consistent. It’s a solid bubble tea spot. The two drink I got today were good. My only complaint is that the Matcha Oreo Blend was a little too sweet. The other matcha drink you see on the right was the opposite and needed to be a little sweeter. I ended up mixing the two and it turned out pretty good. This is also just my own personal tastes and they’re great about adjusting sugar levels. Overall, we have a lot of bubble tea spots and Ding Tea is one of my top 5 places to go."
