"We ran into this place by chance and we really liked the variety of everything we saw. My daughter loved the many chocolate options they have and I loved the beer and wine selection. The gentleman at the cashier was very nice and we will certainly come back. This was a nice find!"

"Not very welcoming or friendly or forthcoming. I'm not motivated to shop there anymore. Luckily, one well spoken younger male employee (tall, beard, dark hair) was helpful, hence two stars to acknowledge his professionalism, the female staff not so much. Just didn't give you a good feeling to be there is all. I don't mind some employees not speaking English but I value a welcoming atmosphere a lot or at least a smile and a helpful attitude goes a long way."

"Unassuming exterior but inside it is indeed delightful! I'm not very educated about Eastern Europe and the Balkans, but this seems to be a great market for the cuisine of the region. There is a section of prepared food, mostly savory pastries, and an impressive array of meats smoked in house. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The cashier even threw in a free chocolate bar into my bag at check out. They also have regional beer and wines, and the largest selection of tinned fish I've ever seen. It's a hidden gem, especially if you like smoked meats!"

"So many diverse products from Eastern Europe! I've been looking for Romanian Borș for years and they have it! Highly recommend if you miss traditional eastern European foods, or if you want to cook some eastern European dishes and need specific traditional ingredients"

"There are only a few shops in the DMV that offer a diverse array of European products, baked goods, delicious meats, and quality service from knowledge staff; European Delight has them all. Every visit, we discover something new worth bringing home. I highly recommend them!"
