"Great donut spot, highly recommended! I had to get a chocolate salted-caramel, it spoke to my soul. The “chop suey” (aka apple fritter) was fantastic, crusty outside and moist inside with plenty of soft apple throughout! I got the without-raisins option but I’m sure the ‘with’ is also great! Kudos for having their own coffee blended locally by BD Provisions (also down the street in Severna Park). Small tables and a nice wrap around bar with plenty of stools if you can’t wait to stuff delicious pastry goodness into your face. The employee Kelsey was cheerful and chatty and had some great music playing!"

"The employee was very friendly, and welcoming. She shared her opinion and insight on different donuts and my son loved that she complimented his hair too! Donuts were tasty, the maple bacon was really good! The topping on the pumpkin cake donut was a little elastic-y and not good but the donut itself was great. The stick was a little dry and needed more jelly but it was flavorful."

"Absolutely worth the hype! This was my first visit to The Donut Shack, and let me just say—what a find! I’m still fairly new to the area and have been on the hunt for that perfect, homemade-style donut spot. I stopped in around 10 a.m. and some of the fan-favorite classics were already sold out (always a good sign!), but no worries—there were tons of other mouthwatering options to choose from. I picked up a dozen without repeating a single flavor, and every bite was a winner. These donuts are next-level—way bigger and fluffier than anything you’d find at a chain shop. Soft, moist, and bursting with flavor. Prices were exactly what I expected for fresh, quality treats. No doubt I’ll be coming back (probably way too often)."

"Really good donuts! We are always looking for a plain sour cream and unfortunately most all.of their donuts have a glaze or powdered sugar of some sort, but they are very tasty. We did grab one of their apple pop tarts and it was good! Had a consistency of a turnover, very flakey."

"Popped in here because a friend of mine recommended it to me, and they were … right. To be honest, we just got a few donut holes and not all were totally fresh, but they did taste good. There’s a front counter with a selection of donuts holes and other pastry things, and behind that, there’s a wall with more selection of regular sized donuts. We tried the chocolate ones, the original glazed and sugar coated, and each of the three tasted good. They just could have been a little fresher. With that said, the guys behind the counter were friendly and efficient and the eating area was clean. Next time I’m in Severna Park, I’d come back for sure."
