"The first thing I noticed upon entering Cafe K is the meticulous attention to detail in the decor. Everything about the place is lovely. We sat inside, but I noticed the very nice outdoor area as well. The service was prompt and friendly. My group ordered pancakes, French toast, Bulgarian Shakshuka and Fettuccine Alfredo. I tasted it all, and it was all delicious. Honestly, it’s one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to. Definitely will return."

"Really great to have a top-notch, kosher milchig restaurant in the DMV. Food was excellent and presentation and ambiance were noted and much appreciated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the chef spoke to us though it helped we came closer to opening. Butter Tikka masala salmon was adjusted spiciness for those more accustomed to Eastern European cuisine, but was still quite delectable."

"If you’re in Downtown Silver Spring and haven’t been to Café K yet you’re missing out. It’s that cozy, bright corner café that somehow makes your morning better the second you walk in. The service is quick but never rushed, and everyone behind the counter actually smiles...which is nice for a change. My husband and I stop by for breakfast almost every weekend; their coffee and pancakes hit every time. Lunch is great too.....simple, fresh, and made with a lot of care.
