What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"The food, coffee, service, and ambience are right on. The sliders and fries are surprisingly delicious. I ordered con panna which hit the spot like a home run. I assumed that they used Ethiopian coffee as I saw the baristas poured a bag labeled with Ethiopian” into the espresso machine. I finished it off with a sparkling water to cleanse the palate or should I drink it before? :)) The place is dark and vibrant without cozy fireplace. I will stop by again for some serious food and coffee tasting."
"Best spiced pumpkin lattes I've ever seen or had. I decided to order this because the description included pureed pumpkin and brown sugar and I just wanted to try it out. I'm happy to report that pumpkin lattes can be made with intention. I expected at most an 8/10 and it was actually a 10/10. Also, I got the Turkish breakfast bowl, as well as the coconut vanilla quinoa porridge. The breakfast bowl was PACKED with flavor and delicious. Definitely would get that again. The porridge was good, but just good. It was not memorable like the Turkish bowl or the latte. Also all of the portion sizes were very good, the place was clean and had a nice chill, relatively quiet, dim but not too dim vibe. 10/10 atmosphere. Good amount of gluten free options too."
"Let’s not waste time—this is exactly why reviews matter. Sometimes you’re not just looking for food, you’re looking for a vibe. And Kaldi’s? Babyyy… it’s giving restaurant-adjacent. More like an upscale coffee shop that happens to serve a solid breakfast—if that makes sense. Service? Friendly. Timely. No complaints there. The space? Aesthetically pleasing—very much giving “tech CEO on a coffee break” mixed with “grad student on deadline.” Folks were working, brunching, and espresso-sipping in peace. Now, I came expecting a full-on restaurant situation… but was still pleasantly surprised. I ordered the veggie omelet (chef’s kiss), the potatoes (needed more flavor—give me sass, not bland stares), and three pancakes that were fluffy and flavorful. HOWEVER—and this is where it gets shady—they gave me what I can only describe as a teardrop of syrup. Sir… what am I supposed to do with this? When I asked for more, the waiter hit me with a “We charge for extra syrup” energy like I was gonna flinch over a $1.50. Sir… bring the syrup. We not about to argue over a side condiment. Now, because I’m dedicated to the cause, I also tried the salmon tacos—and listen, they transported me. I felt like I had stepped off a side street in Mexico City. Y’all really did that. Final word? I’d absolutely come back. Great for a quiet meal, cost-effective, classy crowd, and the food hit just enough to make me forgive the stingy syrup drama. A solid 4.5 stars with potential to be 5 once the syrup flows freely."
"Nice coffee shop with a chill atmosphere. Perfect spot to relax or get some work done in the area. I ordered the salmon omelette and it was delicious."
"We love a local, independent spot. The vibes are good, as other reviews have mentioned. The food is also solid, they have a lot of options to cater to every dietary restriction and preference. That's why we've come back several times despite getting deeply mediocre service. There's no host, no problem, but you seat yourself and old dishes were not ever cleared or the tables wiped down. Food comes without napkins or silverware, and it isn't a "grab it yourself" set up. We ordered drinks and never got them after 45 minutes (despite asking a server at 20 min mark). When we finally went to the bar and got the drinks to go, they weren't the drinks we ordered. Great spot to sit and chill, but lower your expectations for service."
"I only make it to Kaldi on weekends and boy, is it ever busy on the weekends! Once you secure your spot (don't miss that there's lots of seating in the back..."
