"My wife & I decided to stop at Silver Strings on date night after a show we attended in the area, we arrived around 12:15am. Surprisingly it was very vibrant inside. There was a gentleman playing the piano covering 90’s R&B & Pop records with a corresponding projection screen of the original music video of the song he was playing, I thought that was pretty nice. The setting was very warm & relaxing giving a private lounge vibe. Candles were lit on every table and across the bar. Upon being seated our servant was swift with getting us menus water & drinks. I was very happy to know the kitchen was open for business. We ordered light because it was after midnight & we had a few drinks to say the least. Our meal came at a pretty reasonable time considering that people were doing takeout orders and dining in. Our food was hot & delicious. What I like most is the atmosphere, the people different walks of life all enjoying the same thing, music, food, drinks & smiles. In closing I was very happy with my visit at Silver Strings, I stopped in on a humble and found me a new spot. I will be back"

"Solid 3 stars is the conclusion. There are elements that deserve 5 stars (ambiance, decor, vibe) and some that deserve 1. Nothing is truly atrocious but what a weird place this is. We stopped by (this time and last) to grab a bite and drink before a show at the Fillmore (like most other patrons there at that time). This time as the time of our previous visit the place is perplexingly empty (for 7 pm on a Friday). Service is fine but distinctly odd. Friendly and not slow per se but also "slightly off". We had burgers last time (decent) and ordered the bartender recommended wings and broccoli balls appetizers this time. The chicken wings (quantity 7?!) were dry, overfried, came heavily sauced and were garnished with ONE baby carrot sliced into 4ths, half a pale celery stick (sliced into 4ths) and a tired orange/strawberry slice combo reminiscent of last weekend's brunch plus a 1/3rd filled dressing/sauce receptacle (ranch?). Broccoli balls took a bit longer but were surprisingly fresh and chock full of real broccoli, not too heavy and expertly fried. This visit as the last time we were not given napkins or silverware and pilfered utensils from set (empty) tables of which there were plenty. This place seems so cool. The artwork, bar, lovely spirits selection and just overall chill vibe should make this place an easy default stop before nearby show. It just kinda isn't."

"We celebrated my friend’s 24th birthday at Silver Strings Bar in Silver Spring, and it was absolutely amazing! The vibe was perfect, great music, a stylish atmosphere, and just the right energy for a birthday night out. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the drinks were on point. They made sure we were taken care of the entire night. There was plenty of space to dance, chill, and just enjoy the night with good people. If you’re looking for a cool spot to throw a birthday party or just have a fun night out, I highly recommend Silver Strings. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Silver Strings is my new go-to spot for great food and even better vibes! The staff is super friendly and made me feel right at home from the minute I walked in. The menu has a little something for everyone. I tried the salmon jammin and mac & cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. What really stood out to me was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to find a place that feels like both a night out and a family gathering. I’ll definitely be coming back, highly recommend!"

"The bartender was very friendly. The cook did a spectacular job. I loved the homemade aioli that went great with the burger and fries. The chocolate mousse cake was rich and yummy. I came on July 31st. I’m definitely coming here very soon. My favorite burger so far btw….that’s coming from a former Five Guys employee. I had an amazing night! Thank you so much Silver Strings!"
