from Google & Yelp"Great coffee and very cute atmosphere. The pastries were lovely as well. We had the pumpkin spiced latte, pumpkin chai latte, a cinnamon bun and an orange and cranberry muffin. All were delicious 😋"
"The owner here is a delightful person who received professional above-and-beyond training and is very passionate about the art of roasting coffee beans. Their baked goods are also made in-house! Which I was delighted to discover. Their cafe offerings are more focused on quality-centric drinks, less on variety or ‘fun’ drink concoctions — which I prefer, personally. When there are flavor shots, they use Monin syrups, a step above Torani. It would be nice if someday they made their own syrups in-house! I’m slowly trying all their coffee blends, which are also available in bulk at the storefront (you can also buy the bags at the IGA in Wells). Supporting a women-owned business is reason enough to earn my loyalty, but the love of the craft shines through in their products as well. I would definitely support this local business."
"Maine Coast Roast Cafe: A Maine Gem! Maine Coast Roast Cafe is a quintessential Maine find. This local business in Biddeford, boasts a genuine charm that starts with their commitment to crafting the perfect cup. they roast their own coffee beans and deliver a flavor profile that’s as fresh as a coastal breeze. Their scones and cookies are an absolute must-try. Flaky, buttery, and bursting with flavor, these treats are the perfect complement to your morning brew. The cafe itself is a welcoming space with friendly staff. Ample parking makes it a convenient stop for locals and tourists alike. If you're in Maine, do yourself a favor and try a cup at the East Coast Roast Cafe."
"I just stopped by there on my way home from work. I needed to get my caffeine for the day and didn’t know that they close at noon time I showed up 10 minutes after they closed. They still let me get my coffee. They are super nice I always enjoy coffee from here and honestly they’re the best coffee around.!!!!"
"2024 update: still great, no surprise! Pour-over prices are a little high compared to some other spots, but latte prices are comparable. Real spices in the pumpkin spice, and the dark roast is pleasant in a way mass-market ones could never be. Fresh-roasted coffee and quality coffee drinks, what's not to like? Like I usually do, I sampled a latte with a shot on the side. The espresso suited my tastes much more than other recent stops, and the latte was predictably good. (I got a maple one, and it tasted more like pancake syrup than proper maple, but that's *not* a bad thing for me. It was like going out for pancakes. I believe the menu even says "pancake maple". No complaints, and it's just how the flavor syrup is.) I took a bag of whole bean with me, and while I haven't tried it yet I'm sure it will be great - I've not had a honey-processed roast before. Parking here was very easy, and the shop is spacious with a decent amount of seating and a clean bathroom. EDIT: I have been enjoying every french press cup of the Costa Rican roast I bought - the "honey process" is something special. The low acidity is perfect for serving black."
