There are so many reasons to visit this location ran by super-kind grocers and creative snack bar chefs. I’m extremely health-forward and interested in options with ingredients I recognize. This is a great spot to find snacks and staples crafted with less filler sugars or preservatives. Today I shopped for organic raw hazelnuts and macadamia nuts, flour, unsulfured papaya, ginseng, tea, unsweetened dairy-free creamer, and heirloom multicolored popcorn! I had time to warm up with an 8 oz. cup of beet-rich borscht. As a sweet gesture, the cook also had me try yellow split pea curry and it was amazing! This market also boasts a selection of local meats and dairy items, plus a frozen section with a lot of interesting health meals to elevate your freezer stash! There is an Erewhon-level (I lived in Los Angeles for 15 years) amount of tinctures and apothecary items for finding gentle relief with homeopathic medicine. If you are looking for an extract or natural supplement, you will be able to find it here. Even hard-to-find ingredients like cat’s claw or chilled raw bee pollen are available. Trust me, these are your people! I always feel quite content when I come here. Check it out!"

"I used to love shopping here as it’s walkable and the offerings coincide with my lifestyle. At one time the staff was great, cheerful, helpful and nice. As of the last year or two it is very hit or miss as far as the staff goes. Generally most of the staff can’t be bothered to even say hello to you when you walk into the door. I would now go out of my way to go to the Kennebunk location because the staff is great and they have better offerings."

"New Morning Natural Foods in Biddeford is incredible! We live in Michigan but travel to Maine frequently to visit family and can't wait to get to New Morning (Biddeford and Kennebunk). Both locations are completely incredible. Clean, organized, fully stocked with very high quality products, friendly- knowledgeable staff and most impressive is the cafe in the back of the Biddeford location. The soups are completely irresistibly over the top- WOW. The other menu items are all delicious, fresh, well portioned and presented perfectly; with Love. Jenice is a fast moving, big hearted, humorous, professional volcano of passion! The future new owners (Chase and Kelsey; Biddeford location) are working non-stop to keep this incredible legacy (of Paul and Sheila) into perpetuity.
