from Google & Yelp"Met Coffee House is one of those places that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. My husband and I stopped here during our visit to Freeport, and it ended up being one of our favorite coffee stops of the trip. I ordered the Blueberry Tea Latte — perfectly smooth with just the right hint of Maine’s famous blueberries — and my husband went with the Pumpkin Spice Latte, which was warm, flavorful, and exactly what you want on a crisp fall day. Both drinks were fantastic. We enjoyed the cute outdoor seating area where you can take in the charm of downtown Freeport, but the inside was just as wonderful — cozy, welcoming, and filled with that perfect coffeehouse aroma. You can tell it’s a place where locals and travelers alike love to linger. Freeport has a long history as a bustling New England trading town, and sipping our drinks in a spot that blends that small-town charm with modern comfort was such a treat. If you’re in the area, Met Coffee House is an absolute must-stop."
"Good spot for breakfast. We were staying nearby and had breakfast here twice. The girl who took our order was very friendly. Unfortunately the sandwich I wanted wasn’t available bc it was on the lunch menu but there were plenty of other choices. The coffee was tasty and smelled great, the food came quickly and I liked the quiche and toast. My husband had the burrito and said it was tasty too. One thing was a bit odd the fruit salad was just a tiny cup of kiwi which was unexpected considering the name but not a really big deal. Nice and cozy atmosphere and we will stop by again if we’re in the area."
"The atmosphere is a relaxed lounge in an art gallery vibe. The food was amazing we ordered 5 different sandwiches and a vasash and they were all exceptional"
"Absolutely delicious. The bread / bagels / muffins are clearly freshly made, and the Mountaineer breakfast sandwich has generous slabs of thick-sliced ham. The coffee itself is perfectly brewed, as well. Love stopping through here whenever we're in Freeport."
"Cafe located right downtown Freeport. Great food and great drinks. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Place was very clean."
"Stopped in here on the morning of Black Friday with a friend. Very cute space with lots of tables. They have lots of breakfast sandwiches and pastries, but..."
